Day 01
A song from your childhood
Listen to the rythm of the falling rain~
I actually don't know the title nor singer of this song. But, I remember how my grandfather sings this to me while I'm playing with him. I would sit on his lap and he would sing Ilocano songs or his personal favorites. I remember how he would laugh when I try to talk to him in gibberish words, he would reply to me as if he understood. Sometimes, he would teach me to say a few words like, 'Mangan' or 'Papang'. I'm a very smart kid back then and impatient. I would get frustrated over Dora the Explorer when she asks where the heck is the freaking thing. My parents would say that I was fluent in Spanish when I was 5 because, they accidentally bought a English Subbed Dora Series. Going back to the real topic, my grandfather would sing that song to me whenever I want to play with him. I guess, he wants to distract me from breaking something.
The song was about a man who lets go of the woman he truly loved, the rain reminded him so much of her that he remembers her everytime it rains. And everytime the sun shines he cries since, he loved her more than she could imagine.
Day 02-A song that reminds you of your recent ex-boyfriend/girlfriend
Born for you~
Ah. How ironic. Well let me tell you this, I had a boyfriend for 3 years (hahahahaha. i'm not kidding.) He respects me and the sanctity of marriage and the concept of staying pure until the D-Day. He's actually the opposite of me (but we both have pale skin, he's also smart, good looking, has nice school records) in attitude (meaning he's gentle and innocent wherein i have a 'sexy brain').
He's my recent ex-boyfriend because I don't consider M.U. (mutual understandings or malanding ugnayan) and flings as a relationship. Born for you holds a special place in my playlist because, it's the song when he danced with me. Oh, and he's also my last dance when I was in Junior High School (both G9 and G10) before we both decided to break the bond between us. We both know that we can't make a relationship work especially, if we go to different schools to pursue our dreams.
Day 03- A song that reminds you of one/both parents
You can let go now
It's just solemn and sad. I don't want my parent's to grow old even though, they give me some restrictions and I answer back at them. We just don't know how to express our feelings.
Day 04- A song that calms you down
Gom se mari (Three bears)
I always hum this song in my head especially when I'm having panic attacks or nervous. It calms me down and distracts me because, it's a children's song. Singing is not my forte and so is dancing! But, if desperate measures are needed, why not?
Day 05- A song that is stuck in your head
Stigma
I dunno why. It just motivates me to do something.
