The Poem

Abandon all hope ye who enter here
A message you wouldn't want to see near
A world without love would feel like a rear
A pain that would last even more than a year

The abyss is divided into 9 circles
Each with its own endless, agonizing hurdles
Where you go depends on how you were evil
The worse you are the deeper and smaller your circle

Wallop here we are
The 1st circle is where the ignorant are treated subpar
If you aren't a Christian you won't get that far
Limbo's still much better than boiling in tar

2nd circle is for when you were lustful
seductive, dirty and bustful
If being blown by winds still isn't a handful
You haven't experienced the fire in full

If you won't regret that you were fat
the 3rd circle is where you're at
punished with an ocean of excrement if you're a brat
you better lower than candy bar to save yourself and that's a fact

Do you like endlessly pushing rocks?
Working tirelessly with a sinful flock?
The 4th circle is where the greedy are mocked
But you won't be taking a break as if you were locked

The 5th circle is where Phlegyas stays
To guard those who lived in wrathful ways
The circle sits near the Styx that's gray
where the sullen shall forever lay

Welcome to the 6th if you are a heretic
But I don't think being stuck in a burning tomb is fantastic
Some included here are lying fanatics
Now sent to hell for their grievous antics

The 7th circle is isn't its own mound
In fact it contains 3 rounds
these are full of the people who hit and pound
expected as even in Earth, these people are being frowned

At second to the last, the 8th circle is at hand
Even an Earth dweller would expect this to be grand
10 Bolgias compose this desolate land
With differing types, it's better to keep the fraudulent a band

You've reached the end, haven't you shrivelled?
Even describing this place is worse than the sphinx's riddle
Pure evil is trapped in here right in the middle
stuck in the ice, chewing traitors thrice, the devil

Going through here, you can even praise an Earthly ghetto
you'd wish you were still playing in a meadow
But now that we're done let's get a little more mellow
Our next stop, Purgatorio
