"Kaytee!" my mom yelled from downstairs.

i ignored her and kept typing to my friend Niya on my computer.

"Kaytee come down here!" yelled my mom again.

I heard my door slam open,"KAYTEE SEATON!" yelled my mom from behind me.

I jumped up, turning around,"what mother," i said with a blank expression

"you're always on that DAMN COMPUTER! stop being A DISAPOINTMENT AND GO OUTSIDE FOR ONCE!" she screamed with the veins in her forehead popping.

"yeah no offense, but that's never happening," i said

"i will enlist you in the YMCA camp," she threatened

"sure you've been saying that for the past two years," i said smirking

"hmmm, we'll see about that," she said walking out

"close my door!" i screamed

"no you!" she screamed

"ugh you're so annoying!" i screamed and closed my door myself and went back to typing on my computer.

"KATEEE WAKE UP!" my mom screamed

and i jumped in my bed, gasping.

"MA IT'S 6 AM, LET. ME. SLEEP!" i screamed

"you're going to the ymca!" she screamed smiling widly

"you're joking!" i said angrily

"nopeee you have ten minutes to get ready!" she said walking out of my room and closing my door

"I WILL-" i screamed

"i don't wanna hear it," she screamed back

i might as well get ready.

white nasa t-shirt, shorts that were big for my legs, but not for my waist, and it had a black belt on it so, and i wore my dark blue high top converses. then i had a black sweatshirt rapped around my waist, my dirty blonde hair was down because it was to my shoulders and curly and i couldn't do anything with it and i honestly didn't care enough to do so. i didn't bother to do my makeup i was pale, had freckles that were cute on me, and dark green eyes, my eyebrows were just like instagram brows, but natural? i put on chapstick.

"the universe hates me, that's it," i said

"i'll probably get shot here by gang members, this isn't ok," i said

"why me" i said looking at the ground

i turned to my mom in the car

"why are you making me do this, i can't believe you," i said clutching my head because i had a raging headache.

"well you can't be on your phone and computer all day," she said

"yes i can," i said clutching my phone next.

"no k, you cannot," she said keeping her eyes on that road

"mom- it's my-" i started

"keep complaining and i'll drag you in by your hair in front of everyone!" she screamed turning to me

"eyes on the road mother," i said pointing to the road

"right," she said softly

it was quiet for a while.
