Castle Of Glass

The drive seemed to take forever; Jake didn’t mind driving all the way there as long as we parked to the side so he could sleep. With me it seemed like I slept all the time, Jake put in my ipod which played Paramore; favorite band mind you.

It was mid day now; my window showed we were just entering Forks. I turned too Jake and asked.

“Where should we go first?” he looked at me with the look of him thinking.

“Maybe you should visit the Cullen’s?” he suggested.

“Why do you say me? Don’t you want to see them too?” I asked him with confusing thoughts.

“I don’t visit them unless I go play video games with Emmett and that’s hardly ever” he replied nonchalantly.

“Understandable I guess…” I said in a dull tone. It shouldn’t really surprise me; he never got along with Edward especially with the Bella thing. They were vampires and he, a werewolf. Their enemies, only reason he went to see them is when I was there.

Jake turned onto there dirt road and I could hear mumbles of voices just up ahead, as far as I knew they didn’t know we were coming but withAliceshe probably seen me in a vision.

Driving up to the front of the house all the Cullen’s at least what I seen stood around looking at me in the car. Thank goodness for the tinted black windows or they would see that I was looking rather tired in appearance. Jake got out of the car and walked over to my side to open my door and helped me get out.

“Kora!” I heardAliceyell and she pranced over to me and we embraced in a long awaited hug.

“Hey girly” I said smiling but it never met my eyes.

“It’s so great to see you” I heard Esme say coming over to give me the next hug.

“We are terribly sorry for your lose”Carlislesaid giving me a hug and kiss on the forehead.

“Never thought I would be back to only burry my father” I said dryly.

Nobody said anything after that statement, it became awkwardly silent. I looked around not finding Edward or Bella. My feelings started to become happy and I looked to see Jasper constipated.

“Stop the mood control thing please” I said in a fake happy tone.

“Sorry just thought you needed some…cheering up” he said thinking of the right words to say.

“It’s alright so how have you guys been?” I asked them and they looked at one another. It was rather suspicious.

“There has been a lot going on actually, there has been a new addition to the family” Rosalie said.

“What are you talking about? Did a vampire come into town and sign up for the animal lifestyle” I asked.

“Not exactly…” Rosalie said.

I looked to Jacob who was looking straight up pissed, was I that out of the loop with everything that they couldn’t just tell me what the hell was going on?!

“It would be best if you talked to Edward and Bella, it’s not our place to say anything”Carlislesaid but was it that important?

I took out my phone and texted him asking where he was and he answered within a couple minutes.

Jake knows where our house is, text me when you are near-Edward.

Putting the phone up for Jake to read he nodded and took my hand in his. We started heading through the house and out to the back yard. I got the idea that we were heading into the woods and it may take awhile.
