So the beginning was a oneshot online, but the ending, which will be italicized, is all mine.

Biana, Keefe, and Fitz slowly walked along with their parents as they approached two small, frail-looking young trees. Whispers filled the air as Alden and Della stepped forward, paying their respects to the Dizznee's, as well as the Ruewen's. Edaline's red face hid in Grady's shoulder with his arms wrapped around her, as if nothing else was going to keep her from falling apart. Juline and Kesler looked even worse, as both of them had tears streaming down their faces. Biana and Fitz held their breath as they reached the front of the line. Biana clutched her mouth when she saw the trees. Fitz looked away, his face scrunched in anger. Keefe tried to put up a weak smile, but it quickly disappeared, replaced by quiet sobs. Alden tried to guide them to the back of the line when he noticed their mourning, but they all stood rigid and planted their feet on the ground. "We aren't leaving, Fitz managed to to mumble. He hugged his friend and sister close as Alden lightly held Fitz's shoulder. Alden's gleaming teal eyes were red and puffy, but still not as troubled as his next words. Heaviness drenched his tome as he whispered two words. "I'm sorry."

"Sorry!? That's it? You're sorry? Sophie is gone and all you are is sorry." Fitz yelled at his father. The girl he loved was gone and it was all his fault. "Fitz..." Della quietly interjeted, "I know you're upset,  we all are. But being angry isn't going to bring her back. We are just going to have to cope with it." No. He was not about to just move on. He couldn't. He wouldn't. "NO! She gone and it's all my fault!" Fitz screamed. Then he ran. He ran until he couldn't run anymore. He fell to his knees and burst into tears. Soon he heard footsteps behind him. He turned and saw Keefe. Keefe sat next to Fitz and let him cry. "Fitz, listen to me. It's not your fault. It's not. You can't let this break you. She wouldn't want that." Fitz let the words slosh around his head. "Ok," he said, "For her."
