Chapter 10. Present time.

Aimi curled up in a ball, her eyes glistening as she sobbed silently. "Suki.... If only I could've saved you..." Suddenly, Yuki appeared by her side smiling. "There isn't anything to cry about Aimi-chan" Aimi looked towards Yuki, clenching her fists tightly. "How would it feel if you lost someone you love?" Aimi glared at Yuki before storming off. Seth grabbed aimi's arm, jerking her straight backwards. "Aimi! We need to find Esmae!" Aimi gulped and nodded, she handed each one of them a flash light and motioned them to follow, Aimi walked in first slowly down a long grey hallway she felt a shivering chill down her spine "Come join me sis...." A young girl's voice echoed throughout her head, giggles and laughter. Seth looked at Aimi who was emotionless, she slowly walked forwards as if in a trance. "Aimi! Your sister! She's gone forever!" Aimi began to cry and ran after the sound of the voice, her foot slamming down on the wooden floors with every step. She soon arrived at the back courtyard's exit, a peaceful garden awaited her except only one thing in the way; A maze.

Seth sighed, looking at Yuki who seemed motionless. "She's destined for death, if she follows that foolish voice." Yuki smiled and walked towards a white crystal hallway, a shivering presence awaited her at the end of the hall. Seth quickly followed and looked towards a white wooded door, it's edges filled with snow and white crystals. "She's here I can feel it." Yuki slowly opened the white pristine doornob to find a girl laying in an crystal coffin. Seth smiled and hugged Yuki tightly "It's her..!!!" Yuki nodded and smiled, grinning demonishly. "I wouldn't get your hopes up, Griffis." Seth felt a injecting of a knife in his back, he dropped to the ground, his eyes wide. "Y....Yuki..." Yuki smiled, pulling the knife from his back and bolting towards the exit, a soft whisper echoed throughout the halls. "You aren't afraid of the dark.... Are you?"

Esmae groaned loudly, collapsing onto the ground exhausted from the long day of walking in scorching heat. "Only a few more feet and we'll be there" Arikuno smiled, while Esmae closed her eyes, she was so close to leaving. Malice quickly looked towards Arikuno who picked her up and caries Esmae in his arms. Esmae didn't move or breathe, she was completely motionless. "Arikuno!" Arikuno arrived at a white crystal gate and smiled, walking through the portal. "Takashi... I'm afraid we depart here...." Malice entered the portal, stunned and shocked to find Seth on the ground. "Is... This esmae's reality?" Malice nodded and set down Esmae rightfully in the crystal coffin, helping Seth up. Avery bursted into the room, blushing brightly and hugging Esmae. "She's alive right?" Arikuno smiled and nodded, just then a girl with silver/Snow White hair appeared, she wore a small white dress along with a smile. "Who are you?" The girl looked to be about 17 and 3/4's, she simply smiled and hugged Esmae. "This was my roommate, I'm Sakura."
