Third Person POV
The four girls woke up the next morning and sipped their coffee as they got to know each other. With in a day or two of knowing each other they truly felt connected. They had created a bond that they all cherish to the worlds end. For once June had made friends. Real friends. Growing up without a mother figure made it hard for her to interact with other girls. Not having a mother to teach you essential life lessons could make a girl clueless in the real world. Her father tried his best to be a father and a mother figure to June which sometimes turned out hilarious. Men weren't meant to be moms and after a few failed life lessons they both realized that. She had to teach her self things that most girls are blessed to learn by another woman, typically their mother's. June was not as fortunate. Even though her dad raised her she was extremely sensitive. And in tough times she often bottled things up and developed anxiety. But she turned out a fine young lady. Flaws and all she was perfect, or at least that's what others thought.
For once she had met people who didn't use her. Reality hit her hard in the face when she realized being famous isn't that glamorous. Most girls tried to be her friend for the fame and sometimes even for the money. But the guys weren't any better. Guys used her for fame as well but also for her looks. Sure she was beautiful in every way but she was very insecure. And when guys tried to take advantage of her, it sent her into spiraling depression. June never thought people could be so heartless.Life lesson one:
Don't trust many. Don't let them in. Walls come crashing down when they enter. It becomes a mess that can not be fixed. Keep the door shut and yourself locked inside. Be careful, people in this world are more cruel then you know. She survived though. She smiled through the pain. Sometimes the pain of living became unbearable but she smiled and told herself everything was ok. And she was right, every thing was ok. She graduated and ran out of those doors that had caused her so much pain. She ran into the light and into freedom. To some high school was the best time. To her it was something that practically sucked the life out of her every day. But she had done it, she had survived. Survived the people. Survived the bullying. Survived the pain.
After she graduated she had opened up about her experiences on her YouTube channel. She has had her YouTube channel since eight grade and for five years no one knew what happened behind the camera. She began thinking about how there were other people out in the world struggling with similar problems. Even though it hurt to dig up the old issues she had to. She wanted to help others deal with this. After she had posted it she had received so much in return. So many people had opened up and said that she had saved their lives. She was a life saver.
And now at this moment she was happy. She was at the school she had always dreamed about. She was with three people that truly cared for her. She was safe. She smiled and for once it was real. There was no more faking it. She was home.
