PART ONE
After the reaping we headed into the justice hall building which seemed very familiar inside, then I realized why it seemed so familiar, it was because when my brother was chosen for the reaping we said our goodbyes to him and our final words of encouragement to him. So I'm guessing the reason why I'm in that very room is because my loved ones get to say there final goodbyes.
The first person to walk in was to my surprize is one of Mason's brother Hunter.
" Look your Mason's best friend and everything but i want to let you know that he wanted me to tell you that he....... always loved you. and he wanted me to tell you he would....... do anything for you and would do his best to keep you alive.." Hunter said with relief.
At first I didn't even know what to say,I was in total shock.Mason loves me. Do I love him?
I finally said "I love him too, I will do anything to keep him alive."
Then before Hunter could even answer his time was up.
I started to think for a moment, Do I actually "love" Mason Deen? The words that came out of my mouth I didn't even think before I said them, all I was trying to do is make him happy before he gets slaughtered in the games
TEN MINUTES LATER...
The next person that came in where my Father and My mother.
Come to my surprise my father said something that caught my eye.
" Addison... you can win....look I know you prepared for the hunger games after your brother died in the bloodbath....and.... you can win.''
Before I could say anything it was there time to leave, and of course I knew my father knew I prepared for the hunger games. He could see me practice in the meadow not that far from our house. And by the way he said his words he actually believes in me.
I cant believe it my father believes in me, he didn't even believe in my brother. But he believes in Addison Everett........
