60th Annual Hunger games ( fanfiction )

Chapter four *the talk*

                                                                                    PART ONE 

After we said our final goodbyes to everyone Mason and I had to get on the train that took us to the capital where we would spend a week preparing for the games. 

The capital lady did a tour of the train and come to my realization I actually did want to know her name. 

So I sternly asked her her name and I came to shock what she said. 

" Oh my name is Amethyst.'' 

That was the most beautiful name i have ever heard of, and it was kinda normal too. Usually capital people have really weird names and the people from the capital looked like idiots but no Amethyst has long red hair with beautiful green eyes. 

I didn't respond because I didn't want to say anything now because I can talk to her another time. The only person I wanted to talk to was Mason which was now nowhere to be seen. 

so I headed off to find him and when I did I find him writing something which it looked like it said "Dear Addison, if I die in the arena I want to let you know I actually love you more then anything in the world. I know I told my brother to tell you how I felt but i'm not sure if he did it how I would do i- "

Before I could see the rest he noticed me and  he could see I was trying to read what he was trying to write. 

But then he said "so what did my brother tell you exactly in the justice building?''

"Oh.. um.. he said you loved me and you would do anything to keep me alive." i said nervously.

"so what did you say?'' he asked.

''i said....I..I..love you too and I..... would do anything to protect you." I said hesitantly.

To be honest I still don't really know if I actually do love him. I mean I always loved him as a friend but like in a different way I never really thought about it.

We sat in silence for what was about like an hour.

Until he finally said " You love me, why?"

"Because one your my best friend and two I always had a crush on you since we met."

"You did? why didnt you tell me?"

"Because I didn't want that to ruin our relationsh-"

He hugged me before I could finish and I started to just cry.

"I don't want to loose you ." i said sobbing.

He calmed me by stroking my long pony tail and saying i'm not going to loose him as long as i'm alive for about 15 minutes over and over again. 

                                                                       fifteen minutes later...

I sprang up from his grasp and saying "Mason look I think I know how we can win The hunger games." 

"wait, what, really?'' He said with excitement. 

"Yes but first, Can you keep a secret?"
