Lillian agreed to stay three days which was requested by Ciel phantomhive himself and she was just sitting in his library looking at all the books. She wondered if he actually read all the books on the shelves or was it just for show. Lillian felt a presence behind the door before a knock was heard. She turned her head and Alois with his  demon butler Claude entered the room.

"Miss Edwards care for some company?"

" On the contrary, you may do as you please  I am just a guest as you are but as a knight you need not ask. Your Earl doing as you please while maintaining your title is your vice"

" That is true but having a manners is important in the company of a Lady as fair as you and titles don't matter to me much"

" Earl Trancy I'm not much of Lady even without my title as a knight I'm still just a person with manners. You may do as you please I won't stop you but I commend   you not to attempt something to spread more ridiculous stories"

" Very well Miss Edwards why have you chosen to work for the Queen?"

" Its possible it gives me a purpose or perhaps I just like putting my skills to good use rather then wait for the next  war. The truth be told my reason is long lost and buried with the family I use to have. I feel no remorse for people I am told to  kill and being a woman makes me feel but  little emotion otherwise I'm just another ruthless killer."

" Interesting would you like to be friends with me?"

" Friends? I don't classify the people that are known as friends but if you want to be one of the few who knows of my existence without ending up on my hit list be my guest"

" Your quite feisty for a knight and it's quite charming in its own way what do you think Claude?"

" Indeed she's quite interesting"

" Well this was a nice chat but being my friend doesn't mean I'm in your favor that's something you have to earn. Have a pleasant Evening Earl Trancy and  Claude"

Lillian stops for a moment leans to Claude's ear then whispers
' I know your a spider demon and you also know I'm not completely human'. Lillian walks out the room and Claude turns to Alois who is sitting there waiting for Claude to explain his smirk.

" What did she say to you ?"

" She knows I'm a demon and I know she's a lot more interesting then she appears at least on the surface"

" I knew she was special but one thing puzzles me"

" What would that be Your highness?"

" She's not completely human is she?"

" Yes  but it's hard to tell what that is and I think it's because she's been mostly human her whole life"

" I see, would you get me some Tea Claude?"

" Yes your highness"
