Chapter 5: tears

"Where am i.." you ask scared looking around the room full of stuffed animals, flowers and balloons.

"You're in the hospital (y/n), you had a minor stroke." Mahogany says, tears filling her eyes.

You lay your head back down, understanding how serious this is. As you begin to connect to the real world, you hear some sort of crying coming from outside of the door. But this wasn't just any crying, you recognized this one.

"Where is Cam??" You ask jumping up from your bed.

"(y/n), you shouldn't be worried about him right now. You need to get some rest". Matt says handing you a white teddy bear.

Hearing you talk, cam runs in as fast as possible. He stops at the doorway scared to come near you.

"Cam it's ok... I'm ok", you say shy.

He doesn't say a word. Just lays in the hospital bed with you, crying into your shoulder. You can feel his pain with every tear whispering, why her. As weak as you are, you use all you have to lift your arm up and hold him to your chest.

"It's gonna be ok." You whisper to Cam as a tear escapes from your eye.

Just as you both fall asleep the doctor bursts into the room announcing he has your MRI results. He tells everyone to leave besides mahogany. Seperating Cam from you was one of the hardest things the doctor had to do all day. Once you were alone. The doctor explained to mahogany what had happened. 10 minutes went by and the doctor left the room with the papers. Mahogany turned to you and told you to get some rest.

"No, I don't want to get any more rest," You say raising your voice. "What happened to me."

"When you took those melatonins earlier it made your mind at ease, and when the baggage fell on top of your head it caused minor bleeding in the brain," Mahogany said facing the floor. "We didn't realize it was that bad until you had the stroke."

You sink back down into the hospital bed, grabbing one of mahogany's hands.

"What a nightmare."
