1. The following kinds of fan fictions will not be accepted as an entry:

• Incomplete fan fictions

• Fan fictions which are currently undergoing major polishing or editing

• Fan fictions revolving around mature topics or involving any explicit scenes of intimacy, mainly those of intercourse( Sorry, guys, we'd like it kept universal, so mature stuff is out of the window.)

• Truth or dare fan fictions

• One shots or a compilation of several of them ( If you are interested in entering a one shot, do check out our separate one shots competition. )

• Text stories

• Crossover stories( i.e. crossovers with stories that don't already relate to the PJO universe )

If you submit entries under one or several of these categories, it will not be accepted.

In short, your entry must be a complete narrative concerning the Percy Jackson or Heroes of Olympus series.

2. If your entry is accepted, we will inform you either via private message or via the comments.

3. It is compulsory for your fan fiction to involve at least one of the characters of the original Percy Jackson or Heroes of Olympus series, whether they are protagonists or antagonists. You're also permitted to submit narratives concerning minor characters of either of the series listed above, and ones with new characters- such as children of the Chosen Seven or shadow heroes( heroes who might have been present during Kronos' or Gaia's rise but weren't talked about at all). These are fan fiction awards so it's your imagination that counts. Let it rise to the occasion!

4. There will be three winners selected under each category, and five honorable mentions alongside.

5. We will not be selecting the winning books based on their views or ranks. Only books we deem worthy will actually get the prize.

6. If you have read the instructions thoroughly, use your favorite ice cream flavor as the password in the comments section so we are aware you have read the instructions carefully.

7. Multiple entries are absolutely welcome( and encouraged ), as long as each one adheres to the given requirements.

8. We will list the accepted entries on our list on the following chapter.
