HEY LOVEEZ I MISSED YOU!

GOD IS GOOD, LIFE IS...A CRAZY ADVENTURE EVERYDAY.  SO I WANT TO ENCOURAGE ALL OF YOU TO LIVE MORE. LAUGH MORE. ENJOY MORE OF THIS GIFT THAT GOD HAS GIVEN YOU.

DO SOMETHING YOU LOVE, EVEN IF IT SEEMS DUMB TO OTHERS. IT'S NOT THEIR LIFE. IT'S YOURS AND YOU ONLY GET ONE. SO ENJOY IT WHILE YOU HAVE IT!

I'M DONE. I LOVE YOU ALL. I DON'T KNOW IF YOU CAN TELL, BUT I DO.

Today, I woke up needing to hit something, so I decided to send a group text to my boys.

"Incontriamoci al The Ring." (Meet me at the Ring)

I send a second text to Matteo and Cris. "Ci vediamo lì." (Meet you there.)

My phone chimes several times as I head toward the bathroom. After getting dressed in some sweats, a tee, chucks, and a cap, I grab a set of keys and head out the door. I'd usually wait for Matteo and Cris, but I need head space.

As the music fills the car I close my eyes allowing the words to wash over me.

"Dio, Mia Roccia, assicurati che i miei passi passino. Cancella la mia visione e allineala con la Tua. Mantieni i miei cari al sicuro, benedicili con una vita piena. Lava via i miei nemici come hai fatto con il Faraone e il suo esercito, permettimi di essere il Tuo Mar Rosso. E per favore, non lasciate che io diventi davvero il mostro che mi sento. Nel nome di Gesù, Amen".

(God, My Rock, make sure my steps. Clear my vision and align it with Yours. Keep my loved ones safe, bless them with full lives. Wash away my enemies like You did Pharaoh and his army, allow me to be Your Red Sea. And please, don't let me actually become the monster I feel like. In Jesus Name, Amen.)

Feeling an internal nudge, I open my eyes. It's God's way of telling me He's there and He heard me. To be honest, I don't know who I'd be without Him--where I'd be. I just know that I've had this feeling of something big coming, which can only mean one thing, war.

Father, when will the fighting be over? When will the violence cease? Will I ever have peace?

I wonder if this is how David felt. It's not fear, it's something else. Like there's something inside you ready and waiting to be unleashed when the need arises. A wildfire. Raw, untapped, uncontrollable power that will consume whomever comes close.

I feel dangerous.

I pull into the lot just as the next song begins. Shutting off the engine, I sit in the driver's seat breathing.

"Possa la Tua pace custodire il mio cuore e la mia mente in questo giorno, Dio Onnipotente."

(May Your peace guard my heart and mind this day God Almighty.)
