'You can't catch me, you can't catch me! Hahaha!'

I perk my ears and open my eyes to see what's making this disturbing noise. Sylvia and Whitney are chasing eachother, something I did with my other family, before I was brought to that bloody petshop.

'Ah, Kitty!' Sylvia lifts me up in excitement. 'You're awake!'

You know, I'm still uncomfortable with this.

I let out a noise to let Sylvia know that SHE SHOULD PUT ME DOWN IMEDIATLY.

'Sorry...I didn't know you don't like it...' she sais dissapointed and puts me down.

'Told ya' she didn't like it yesterday...' Whitney replies. At least someone is mature here.

I wiggle my tail and leave. Sass is my middle name. I walk around my new home, I didn't get to explore it yesterday. I exit the livingroom -where apparently I fell asleep- and enter in a hall. I see so many shoes that I can chew...maybe later, now I have to find the kitchen, I am extremely hungry. After I crossed the hallway, thare are some stairs, a bathroom and...BINGO!...the kitchen.

As I go in I see a huge metalic closet that has a few magnets, photos and drawings on it. I go near it slowly, in the attack position.

What in the name of cat food is this?

'Don't be afraid of it, it's just a fridge.' I hear Helena laughing behind me. 'Here we store our food, so it doesn't go bad.'

I turn around to see her in her pijamas holding a cup from where steam comes out....everything in a pastel pink.

Pink? that's so cli-

My thought is interrupted by a bark. A bark?! Oh heck, no. I forget about my hunger, about Helena's weird outfit and head out to the place I heard the bark from: Upstairs. Unknown area. Error 404: Human upstairs not found. But instead, I find a teeny-tiny black dog with wrinkles all over its face. A pug. Huh. From all the beautiful dogs that exist in this world, they chose a pug. How did I miss him the other night? He friendly drops his tounge out and aproaches me. I hiss and make a horror movie face and the pug, scared, backs away letting out some 'adorable' sounds. Jim gets out of a room and notices me intimidating the dog.

'Kitty, STOP!' he demands...and I stop. 'You scared Puggy.'

Puggy?! HAHA! Too bad I am not able to laugh out loud, because I would right now! What miserable animal would accept a name that is its animal type?- oh wait.

Instead of laughing I just lean my head towards right. Jim picks up Puggy and calms him down...I suppose it's a boy. He murmurs to him a few words, with the voice of a spoiled baby and puts him down. Puggy again drops his tounge and widens his deep black eyes. You could see happiness in him. He again comes towards me, just like he forgot how teriffying I am, and I am just about to hiss, but I can feel Jim's look cutting my head in half, so I just let him sniff me and so do I. Painful moment.

'...and you would think that the dogs would scare the cats...' he turned around giggling and went back into the room.

I let out a friendly meow and he responds with a bark. I inspect him once more, to make sure that he is not harmful. Not that a cute little dog like him would do something to me. Did I just call him 'cute'? Oh, my....I guess he IS kind of cute. I start running around him and he tries to chase me. He then starts running down the stairs.

I guess this is a race?

I keep up with him. The way he runs with his hind legs makes him look like he is going to collapse any moment.

Untill the evening I play with Puggy and forget about reality. It's nice. I never thought I would get along so well with a dog. I feel something weird in my stomach and I realise that I haven't eaten anything all day. I leave the party and go to the kitchen where I see my bowls filled with plenty of food and water. Happiness.

(a/n: I just wanted to let you know that I actually love pugs and the colour pink. Whatever I write here is from Kitty's perspective, it doesn't have anything to do with what I love and hate. Just so you know this, before comments about pugs and pink start to show up. :) )
