Adalynn's POV

After parking my motorcycle, I unlock the door to my house, leaving Ashton outside. I go to my room and drop my backpack off, and then head back downstairs.

But then I spot my dad in the kitchen chatting with Ashton. Shit... I thought Ashton would stay outside. Even though you never told him to wait outside?

"Hey, dad," I say awkwardly.

"Who is he?" He asks, eyeing him skeptically.

"His name is Ashton. He's new, and he begged me to show him around town. He also said he would buy me food, so how could I resist?" I ask, smirking.

"Wait, I never-" Ashton starts, but my dad cuts him off.

He sighs and asks, "Are you guys going on a date or something?"

You wish. My eyes widen, and I say, "No! He's gay, so you have nothing to worry about. He won't steal my heart or anything." I catch Ashton glaring at me.

"Actually, sir, your daughter is lying. She was the one who begged me to hang out with her. But I think she's just using me for my motorcycle. Also, I'm not gay..." He responds.

"So you guys are going on a date?" My dad asks, smiling.

"No-" I say, but then get cut off by Ashton.

"Yes! I am here to sweep her off her feet and steal her heart." Ashton says.

My dad nods and says, "I want her back home by 10."

"5!" I whisper to my dad, begging him for the date to end sooner. Oh, so you agree it's a date?

My dad smirks at me and says, "She hasn't had a real boyfriend because she chased all of them away..."

I gasped at my dad's words and said, "That's just cruel."

Ashton laughs and says, "Come on, Lynn, we have to go on our date!"

"This is not a date. You begged me to hang out with you!" I say, agitated. He grabs my hand and drags me towards the door. "Dad, please save me!" I say desperately.

I hear him laugh, and I roll my eyes. "If you hurry up, I'll let you drive..." Ashton says.

"Okay!" I say excitedly. Once he lets go of my hand, I grab my helmet and put it on.

Ashton's waiting for me on the motorcycle, and I sit in front of him. "Ready?" I shout, revving the engine.

"You better not destroy my bike, Lynn," Ashton shouts, wrapping his arms around me. I freeze and stop breathing for a few seconds. Awwww. I wish he didn't have to hold on to me. Liar. We both know you like this. Shut the fuck up.

I start the engine, and we start zooming through my neighborhood. Definitely smoother than your motorcycle. "Woohoo!" I yell. I feel Ashton's chest shake from laughter and smile.

This has been the best motorcycle ride ever! Because of Ashton or because of the motorcycle? Obviously, because of the motorcycle. Right... Chill, I just met him.

An hour later, I park at an ice cream parlor and immediately get off the bike. After taking off my helmet, I look at Ashton. Damn, those muscles- Stop.

Why is he smirking? Caught bitch. "Like what you see?" Ashton teases.

"The ice cream?" I ask, pointing at the shop. "Always," I say, grabbing his hand.
