I was running like a maniac in the empty streets of Dhalum. To the point where a car almost ran over me. I said a brief sorry before I took off again, too afraid that he might catch my poor soul again.
When I arrived home I didn't hesitate to lock the doors and run to my room and do the same. My heart and mind were in their own speed and I felt paranoid.
That was the first time I ever felt this scared in my life. I never had the courage nor the training to do anything. I remember knowing all of those informations a month ago from a woman I barely knew existed and a place only a person like me would go.
My mind suddenly drifted to the man whom I call my savior. I obviously don't know who he is but I felt his aura the moment we locked eyes. I remember his dark orbs under the moonlight and the snippet of his gold blonde hair. He seems daring at that moment but at the same time I thought I caught a glimpse of someone of high rank.
The way his body automatically dodged the strikes of the vampire like an open book sent shivers down my spine at how professional it seemed but the moment I saw the life trying to fight back in the immortals eyes I suddenly froze. There was something happening in the dark that I couldn't fantom. It was as if the vampire was... being choked. Like something was holding him up in the air yet I was sure the man wasn't moving his hands. I still couldn't be so sure of that too because I ran away after I saw everything else and it was too dark for me to even comprehend. I didn't know that I was thinking that deep because suddenly mind and body shut down and was too tired to even think of the rest.
I woke up blankly staring at nothing. I had to comprehend everything that happened yesterday, or rather everything that happened for the past few weeks.
