Chapter 9 : Home Soon

<Tim's (Masky) POV>

"Toby. I got news." I said as I walked back into the 'living room.' "W-whats up?" Toby turned to me, concerned look on his face. "Slender and the others are returning sooner then expected. Apparently, Clockwork pissed Hoodie off and went on a rampage, killing those they needed to kill." Toby expression dampened. "What's up Tob?" Im concerned for my lover. Toby looked to me. "W-what if t-t-the others pi-ick on me a-again?! I c-can't ha-andle that a-a-anymore!" At his outburst, I realized he's panicking. No a Panic Attack!
"Ssh. It's okay...-" I wrap my arms around his quivering body, keeping a protective hold."- I won't let them hurt or touch you in anyway... Okay?" I reassure him with many things. Hearing voices, Toby and I hide, weapons out and ready to fight. "We're home! Toby, Masky? Where are you children?"I hear Slender call out and show myself. Yet, I had my Mask on. Only Toby, Hoodie, and Slender know what I look like without the mask. Toby was hidden behind me, frightened by Jeff's murderous stare. I turn to him and lay my hand on his shoulder, reassuring him I won't leave him.

After a little bit, Slender dismissed the others, but took Toby and I to his office. "What's going on between you too? Toby has never let you lay a hand on him or touch him in anyway. What's going on?" I Slender's curiosity got the best of him. "Um... W-well..." Toby stoped and looked over at me. Sighing, I finished, "Toby and I are dating. That's the easiest way to put it." I couldn't tell what Slender was feeling. "Your dating...? That was unexpected. All of us thought both of you were gonna kill each other once Toby told you that both of you were stuck together for a while. Is there anything I should know?" Slender finally stopped. I looked over at Toby. He nodded and I explained the time we spent together. About the cutting and music with singing and every thing we did. When I finished, Slender's expression was unreadable.
He looked over at Toby. "You play guitar?" Slender asked with surprise lingering in his voice. "Y-yes. I d-do." Toby looked to Slender, trying to read his expression. "You should play for us soon." "R-really? Y-you mean i-t?" Toby mood shone with happiness. "Yes child. I do." Toby thought for a moment before replying. "W-well I have a-a song I j-just finished. I c-could play i-it." "I fully encourage you child. Now go set up." With that Toby and I rushed off to set up, while Slender distracted the others.

<Toby's POV>

When we finished setting up, I signaled Masky to go get the others. They started coming in and immediately started asking questions, yet I ignored them and grabbed my guitar and started the music as I started strumming. ( Toby's singing ) THIS IS A REAL SONG BY Get Scared and the song is called Drown.

I finished playing the tune, having my eyes closed I couldn't see around me. I had them shut for a reason, and that reason was to not freeze up or suddenly stop with no one knowing why. I open them slowly to see everyone in the mansion standing or sitting in front of me. Masky walked over and stood beside me, placing a hand on me making me look up at him. "It'll be ok. I bet they're speechless because they never thought you could do this or even had the courage to do this. Even if you decided not to do this, I will still be here for you." Masky whispered this quietly in my ear, so the others wouldn't know we're dating. "Toby... Was that you singing? Or was it a recording?" Clockwork spoke up. I was about to say 'No', but Masky beat me to it. "No. That was him singing. I should know because he sang for me while you all were away on the bigger side of town where killing was due." I looked away and started turning my equipment off. Putting my phone in my pocket, I turned off the rest of my stuff while feeling the eyes of others burning into me. I couldn't resist the feeling anymore. Turning to them, I gave them one last look before setting my main guitar down and going up stairs.

<Masky's POV>

Toby went upstairs, seeming a little uneasy. I looked towards Slender. He gave me the okay to go after him. Rushing up the stairs, I stopped Toby as he walked down the hall. "Hey. Where ever your going I'm going. Okay?" My voice pulled him out of whatever trance he was in. "O-ok." He started walking to a window, opened it and jumped out. I did the same. Where ever we're going, Toby brought his country styled guitar. I have a feeling that this will be the best night of our lives.
