Chapter 3: The Realisation

< Masky's POV >

     I was bright and early when I awoke. 7:56a.m. to be exact. With the thought of last night... I got up, got dressed and went downstairs. "Morning Masky." Hoodie said as I walked to the fridge grabbing cheesecake. "Morning Hoodie." I replied as I plopped back down on the couch. Every one seemed to be awake though I didn't see Toby anywhere. "Jane?" said a sweet and soft voice to be recognized as Sally. I turned around to see the young girl tugging on Jane's dress. "Yes Sally? Is something wrong?" asked the girl with pure black hair. "Where's Toby?" Sally asked with wonder. "I... Im not sure dear." Jane replied with a little question in her voice. Her jaw suddenly dropped. I turned to see what she was staring at. I turned to see a crimson red figure standing in the doorway. It was Toby covered head to toe in blood.

< Toby's POV >

I stood in the doorway covered in blood from my kills.

Good job Toby... Your a cold hearted FREAK! The voices shouted as I stood there.

"Toby?" Jane yelled worried and frightened at the same time.
"Ah... I see your back. How did it go?"  I saw Slender to my left in the kitchen. "F-f-fine. A-all four d-d-dead." I responded. "And... How many?" "104." I told him with pleasure in my voice as I wiped my googles off. "Oh... Ok. Go up and rest." Slender told me. I did as I was told.

< Masky's POV >

I was siting on the couch looking back and fourth between Toby and Slender. "How many?" I heard Slender ask. "104." Toby had said. "Oh... Ok. Go up and rest." Slender told the 19 year old. After Toby went upstairs to his room, I presume, Jane asked "How many what Slender?" "Kills." After Slender said this he teleported away. "104 k-kills." Jane stuttered on her words. "Hey Jeffy? Isn't that more than you?" asked the hacker, Ben, or Jeff's boyfriend (yes there is more than one ship in this book).
"Yeah, like twice as fucking much. Wait... Yeah... The hell!" said the smiling murderer. "Exactly because the most i've killed is 52 people." "Damn." I mumbled under my breath. I left the room and walked upstairs as the others talked about their past kills. I walked down the hall to my room only to her whimpering. It surprised me as it lead all the way to Toby's room.

< Toby's POV >

I woke up crying from the replaying image of my sister, Lyra, the crash, and Masky again. I cried silently so no one would hear... but I was wrong. I looked
up when hearing a quiet knock, almost unnoticeable. "C-come i-in." Saying almost in a whisper but easy to here from my voice being slightly raspy from crying so much. I looked down again after to only to hear foot steps come up beside me. "Hey... I heard crying and it lead to here... I just wanted to see if you were ok." saying a deep voice, easily to identify as Masky. Slowly... I lifted my head to see him, without his mask surprisingly. "I'm f-f-fine." I replied, trying to keep my voice steady. "Are you sure?" Masky asked more concern this time walking over to sit by me. he plopped own next to my on my bed. "Just go... I-I know you d-don't w-wanna be he-here 'cause y-you wanna s-s-see m-me s-s-s-suffer!" Wiping my head towards him lashing out. Looking down so he cant see the tears stream down my face. He backed up.

Look what you did. You broke him.

"That's not true! What made you thing that? I came because I was concerned about a co-worker, A friend!" Masky yelled scaring me half to death at his out lash. He sighed, " I will ask you again. What's wrong?" Saying nothing for about five minutes, surprisingly, masky wrapped his broad arms around my slim figure. I leaned into his chest, so he won't see my crimson red blush, only to see he was blushing a light pink. We sat like that for awhile, only to start feeling drowsy. I snuggled up to Masky thinking only one thing as I drifted to sleep in his arms. 'I love him... but does he love me?'
