Chapter two

Madaline's pov

*couple weeks later at party*

I wore a sparkly blue dress with black flats. My hair was done up in braids. My makeup well not much to say, just a little eye shadow, mascara, and some eye liner. I stood in the back waiting for my mate.
I sighed in defeat. 'He should've found us by now' Laila, my wolf, said.
'Yes. I'm starting to think he got hit by a bus or something!' I said jokingly. She growled. I laughed out loud. I went to the punch table and poured myself a glass. That's when I smelt the most amazing scent. It smelled like pine trees and raindrops.
'MATE!' Laila growled. I felt shakes and tingles running through my left arm. I turned to find Beta Vincent Mackers. I was shocked.
He grabbed my waist and nestled his face in my neck sniffing me. He growled.
"Mine!" I wrapped my arms around him tight like he might disappear.
He soon let go slightly just enough to see who I was. I whimpered.
'He's going to reject us Laila! I just know it!'
'No he ain't!'
He grabbed me and tossed me over his shoulder. I yelped. The shocks and tingles ran wild and I gave not an ounce of a fight. Although I did slap his ass earning me an arousing growl. He grabbed my ass. I growled. I hadn't notice we were outside till I heard him open a car door. He set me in the passenger seat and buckled me in. He closed my door and jogged to the driver side. He hopped in and started the car. I finally found my voice.
"W-Where are you taking me?"
"Someplace private."
"Does my daddy know?"
"Yes I talked to him at the beginning of the party. Mads?"
"Yes Vince?"
"C-Can I kiss you?" he blushed. Vincent freaking Mackers is blushing.
"Yes. There's no need to ask. You are my mate are you not?"
"Yes. My wonderful perfect mate." he leaned in. His lips pressed against mine. Boy did the sparks fly. My hands were instantly in his hair, holding him there. Luckily his car had no consul. His hand dropped from the top of the steering wheel to the horn.
HOOOONK! My dad came rushing out along with the alpha and beta. I blushed massively.

Vince's POV

Her father along with the beta and her alpha came rushing out. She blushed and hide in my chest. I gave a weak smile. I sat normal and started the car. I drove to my families cabin. I had asked them to be away for awhile so my mate and I could spend some time together. She was watching the trees and the bushes we passed.

A half an hour later. We arrived at our destination. She sat curled up on the seat. Her head on the window and her lips slightly parted letting out soft snores. I picked her up. Her arms automatically wrapped themselves around my neck.
