The forest was dark tonight. The moon and stars were hidden behind the clouds.Fripp was restless. Something was stirring, something that had been sleeping for a very long time.
Garnok is back, Fripp thought wearily. After a hundred years of sleep and peace on Jorvik, the great monster was awakening.
It seemed like only days ago when the last group of Soul Riders had defeated Garnok and his generals, imprisoning the beast in the ocean once again.
Fripp assumed it was because time meant nothing to him. There had been no need for time in Pandoria, his homeworld.
He shook his head, pushing the thoughts out of mind. He needed to focus, he needed to think. They would need new Soul Riders, and they would need them soon.
Once again, something stirred. It was just as powerful as Garnok, perhaps even more so.
The Soul Riders will arrive in sixteen years. Their names will be Lisa, Linda, Alex, and Anne.
Fripp sighed, relieved. Time didn't matter to him. Sixteen years wasn't that long of a wait.
What's this?
Fripp nearly jumped with surprise. He could sense something else, not Garnok nor the Soul Riders. A new stirring. A new life force.
He had not felt this force since the day he had arrived on this planet.
He would need to call a counsel meeting. The others would need to hear about this.
