Ch.9- It's The Falling In love

Michael's POV

So he (Quincy) wasn't mad at me once I told him what happened. He seemed quite astonished and intrigued.

"So are you going to see her today?", he asked.

"Who? Billie?"

"No, your ancestor. Of course I mean Billie"

"I don't know. But I can't today. She's gotta study for her exam. Maybe tomorrow", I responded sounding a bit down.

"Does she know when you're leaving?", he asked folding his arms now.

I walked over to the piano and sat on the seat. We were in the studio. "No, not yet."

"Mike, you gotta tell her man. You can't be falling in love with a girl that you'll only be able to meet as in a year later...if that would be possible", Quicy said sounding all superior and all.

"I'll tell her. Relax man. I want to take her out somewhere tomorrow but I wanna keep it cool. Maybe having her hang out in my hotel room and we could order food", I said opening the cover slide of the piano.

"As in a date?", Quincy asked with his voice sounding higher than usual.

"As in a date? No, as a friendship hangout.", I informed him.

"Oh. Great. Well I got to go to a meeting Michael and I'll catch ya later", Quincy said as he gathered his things and left. "Bye", I said as he walked out of the door.

I can't stop thinking about her. Is it the way she walks? Or the way she talks?...Well, I just can't explain. My life will never be the same. 'Cause she came and changed. Oh wait, I could use that in song. I jotted down those words which now have become my lyrics. I then placed that page one side and started to play a few notes on the piano that was in my mind last night as I layed awake. I took my phone last night and went to recorder and recorded the tempo and melody as :" I was alone in the dark when I met ya" and beat-boxed the beats.

I sang to the notes how I felt.
