The Fault in our Star Sans

Chapter 1 - The Deal

Ink grinned. Soon Error would be unable to destroy while Ink would have free reign to continue creating to his hearts content. (Only as long as the balance lasts.) All Ink had to do was get Error to promise in front of the original council and he could use Dream to continue creating without having to protect his aus. It was the perfect plan. (Uh, no. The opposite of perfect actually.)

When the Original Council and Dream arrived at the meeting, Ink explained his plan to make a deal with Error to both stop and have them both promise in front of the original council. The original Council would make sure they both keep the promise.

"Everyone understand?" Ink questioned.

"Yep."

"Lets go." Ink opened a portal to the Anti Void.

Dream made to follow the Original Council but Ink stopped him.

"You stay here and watch the multiverse for Nightmare's gang." Ink insisted as he entered the portal.

When they entered the Anti void, everyone looked around at the empty whiteness.

"How do we find Error in this blank place?" Classic questioned Ink.

"We follow his Strings" Ink responded pointing upwards.

"There is no ceiling. How did he string those up? Sci wondered.

"How would I know?" Ink responded.

After an unknowable amount of time following the strings they finally began to notice signs of Error's presence.

"Are those dolls in the strings?" Mumbled Outer.

"They look like sans." Red added.

"Did Error make these?" Wondered Slim.

"As if Error could create." Scoffed Ink.

Reaching the place where all the strings converged, the group froze as they watched Error knitting a scarf while Core Frisk watched.

"Error, you have guests." A female voice spoke, making the group jump.

Error looked up, glancing around before spotting Ink's group. All the while he was still knitting.

"Huh, thanks Kind voice." said Error. "Let me just finish this scarf for Core and then you can try and kill me again."

"So you did make the dolls in the strings." Sci exclaimed.

"Yes I made the puppets. No one else lives in the Anti Void. Scarf is finished Core." Error said, getting up and handing Core Frisk a lovely white scarf patterned with red and orange leaves. Core Frisk thanked Error before they put the scarf on, opened a portal and left the Anti Void.

"Um, we are not here to try and kill you Error." Classic said.

"Its a miracle. Praise the Stars." A disembodied male voice snarled.

"Calm down Sassy voice, maybe they won't break too many bones this time." Error soothed.

"I just want to make a deal. If you promise not to destroy aus, I promise not to create any more aus. We both promise in front of the Original Council who make sure we don't break the promise" Ink explained.

"Wait, seriously? You will stop creating?" Error asked.

"The Creator would stop creating?" Laughed the one Error called 'Sassy voice'.

"I promise before everyone here." Ink responded.

"... Promise I won't get attacked by anyone if I leave the Anti Void." Error said.

"Why listen to him. Everything is his fault." The Sassy voice sounded shocked.

"Not even Ink would break a promise made in front of all his allies" Error responded.

"His blind guard dogs you mean. Why wouldn't they let him break the deal?" the Sassy voice queried.

"They may be terrible Judges who are blinded by Ink but they do not break promises unless they are forced to." pointed out Error.

The Original Council exchanged glances.

"We promise nobody will hurt you if you leave the Anti Void as long as you don't attack anyone or anything. We promise we will not let Ink break his promise that he will stop creating aus. We promise we will make sure you do not destroy any aus." Chorused the Original Council.

"In that case I promise not to destroy aus as long as Ink no longer creates aus." Error promised.

"I promise not to create aus while Error is not destroying or killing in the aus." Ink said.

"I wouldn't stay here much longer. Even though Kind voice and Sassy voice are nicer than the old voices, you don't want to stay in the white too long even with company."

Error made a portal and gestured for the group of sans to go through. The Council and Ink warily entered to find themselves at the Council meeting place.

"If Error knew where we meet why has he never attacked us here?" Dance wondered.

"Error doesn't attack us, we attack him. Error only fights back when we try to stop him destroying aus. He even lets us retreat without trying to stop us. Error only kills the inhabitants of the aus he destroys." Dream corrected as he approached the group.

"If he didn't kill them before destroying the au, the inhabitants would end up trapped in the void unable to die." Reaper pointed out.

"What a terrible Fate." Everyone shuddered.

"Well we better go. Come on Dream." Ink said making a portal to his home. Dream nodded and left with Ink.

The Original Council began to discuss the experience with Error.

"What a horrible white void." Sci shuddered.

"What did Error mean by 'old voices' and the new voices being nicer?" Slim questioned.(You don't want to know.)

"How long was Error in that place without company?" Classic wondered. (Too long.)

"What did Error mean 'blinded by Ink'?" Questioned Dance.

"Huh?" Everyone else froze.

"Error said we were terrible judges and that we were blinded by Ink." Dance reminded them.

"All Ink told us was Error was bad for destroying aus. He never said anything about the Anti Void or Error having no au or constantly trying to kill Error." Classic reminded them.

"We believed what Ink told us without verifying what he said or forming our own opinions. That is what Error mean by terrible Judges. We were biased by believing everything Ink said just because he is the Creator." Sci Concluded.

"What else did he lie about or leave out?" The Original Council wondered. (Well at least something good came out of this mess.)

Meanwhile Ink and Dream were discussing what to do

"Since you didn't promise you can help me keep creating in secret by covering for me if the Council ask my location." Ink giggled.

"Are you sure this is okay? You did promise not to create and you're breaking that promise." Dream worried.

"Destruction is always bad and causes harm whereas Creation is always good and causes happiness." Ink exclaimed. (No. That. No. Just no.)

"Nothing will go wrong and nothing bad will happen." Ink Promised. (Ha. Just you wait.)

important info on this story

1. Fate formed Error into the destroyer as a temporary solution until he could get Ink to listen to him and stop creating but as Ink ignores him he has to keep Error as the destroyer.

2. Fate has stopped favouring Ink and joined Destiny in favouring Error.

3. Fate and Destiny cannot do anything to stop Ink and everything is all Ink's fault.

4. Error hears two nice voices he calls 'Sassy' and 'Kind' which are Fate and Destiny.
