"Okay Mona, we are leaving tomorrow, for Savannah." Honey says, sighing. There goes her house funds. But she is willing to do whatever it takes to find her sisters. Honey waits a moment for Mona to respond, but she doesn't. Sure, she might be quiet but she normally responds. Standing up, Honey notices that her car keys are missing. She rushes down the four flights of stairs from her apartment, just to see her car pull out of the driveway. Mona had stolen her car. Honey rushes back up stairs and grabs her phone.
"MONA you get your butt right back here before I call the police on my own sister." Honey says, infuriated.
"But what about Heidi, and Sadie! I have to find them!" Mona says, her voice raggedy. Honey sighs.
"I booked us plane tickets, but if you don't bring me back my car, we won't be able to get to the airport dear." Honey musters, trying to stay calm. It was a rare occasion when she got upset, you better be careful. From down the street Honey's red Kia Soul comes pulling around the corner, quickly. Mona hastily parks the car and gets out.
"Well, are you ready, I've packed my bags. Where are yours?" Mona says, crossing her arms. She made it quite obvious that she was ready to go. Honey explains that they have a couple hours until they need to be at the airport, and they still haven't book a place to stay in Savannah. When they get inside, Honey packs her bags, and Mona finds a Bed and Breakfast for them to room in.
"Okay, lets go Mona." Honey calls. She had packed plenty of money and extra clothes. She grabbed Cricket and dropped him off at a neighbors house. They cat-sat for her all the time, so this wasn't exactly an abnormal move. The two girls clamored into the Kia, throwing their bags in the back. Checking her clock, Honey calculated that they had time to stop for coffee, grab lunch, and then be at the airport an hour early.
"Two Iced Caramel Macchiatos" Honey ordered, Mona nodded. As Honey paid, Mona sat down in the lounge area. As she sat there, the most peculiar thing happened. It felt like she was dreaming, but she was awake. It was of Heidi, her naturally tan skin, dark brown curly hair, and she was sitting at a counter top with a girl sitting beside her. There were plants and crystals all around her, and she appeared to be laughing. Mona flashed back to reality, shaking her head. Her entire body was quivering, as if she was cold. What had just happened.
"Mona, are you okay? Whats wrong?" Honey asked, rushing to her sisters side. Mona explains her vision, and Honey helps her up without questioning her sister. They grab their coffees and head back to the car. Mona's head keeps flashing back to the image of her sister laughing, having a good time. She gets on her phone as they head toward the airport. She googles 'Witch Shops In Savannah", multiple result popped up, but one in particular grabs her attention. 'Heidi's Magik Shoppe'. Mona's mouth goes dry, and the hopeful feeling in her chest grows.
"I think I know where we can find Heidi. I think she owns a magic shop, it looks like the one I saw in my vision." Mona gasps, Honey looks over, concerned for her sister. They grab lunch at Arby's and quickly head to the airport. They get their in perfect timing, just as they call for boarding. The flight only lasts two hours, and both girls sleep through it. Mona vividly dreams of Heidi, and the mystery girl beside her.
"Mona, we are here." Honey calls to Mona, shaking her slightly. With a yawn, Mona wakes up and grabs her overhead baggage. They wait at the conveyor belt for their luggage, and call an Uber to take them to their bed and breakfast. They admire the city of Savannah's beauty. The old oak trees and the elegant swaying Spanish Moss. The city squares, the cobbled streets, and the old style buildings. They arrive at the B & B, they find Heidi's shop. Luckily it is within walking distance, so they begin to head her way. Within 15 minutes they are standing in front of a building with the sign ' Heidi's Magik Shoppe'. Mona opens the door, and a bell rings announcing their arrival. The smell of sage and earth greets their noses, and a small woman steps out from the back. She has long red hair, green eyes, and freckles covering her body.
"Hello, welcome to Heidi's, how can I help you?" says the girl. Her apron is covered in dirt, and her wide rimmed glasses reflect the natural lighting, casted from the windows at the front of the store.
"Um.. Is Heidi here?" Mona asks, quietly, nervous at what the auburn haired girl might say. The girl squints her eyes and cocks her head.
"HEIDI! There are two girls here to see you!" The girl yells. The door to the back opens, and standing there is Heidi, dirt on her apron, and a plant sprig in her hand.
"Honey.. Mona.." She mouthed, dropping the sprig, she launches herself forward, hugging her two sisters.
"So does someone wanna tell me whats goin on or??" The red headed girl snaps. Heidi turns around, snickering.
"Meg, these are my sisters, Mona and Honey.." Heidi replies, "And I missed them so much."
