"ALANA!" I could hear someone scream my name; Dex. I can't move my body to even look to see if it is him. what was in those injections? It feels like hours and I still haven't been able to move. I don't even remember how I got here or how I got myself in a siting position.

"ALANA!" There goes that voice again. if only I can respond back or move a finger. This is hopeless.

"ALANA!" Dex? Is that really you?

*** Eleven years ago*****

"Hey I hear that kid is out the box again?" A young girl spoke to another girl as they were playing some sort of hand game.

"Yeah I remember him. Dex." They continued their conversation as the hand game increased in speed. Kids were running and playing in the background but the two girls paid no attention to them. They were playing in Arkanza's childrens recreational block.

"My brother said he's a bad guy and to not talk to him." Said the girl on the right with the two pigtails. The other girl remained quite for a few turns before she spoke again.

"I don't think he's bad at all." The girl with the pig tails moves her hands and gave the other girl a disgusted look. The girl looked confused; why did her friend stop?

"He is, he does bad things that's why he went to the box. To be punished." The girl with the pig tails huffed in disappointment waiting for the other girl to agree with her.

"Your wrong he doesn't seem like a bad guy." The girl with the pig tails pushed the other girl and started beating her up. The two young girls we're scratching and clawing at one another. The girl with the pig tails was hitting the other girl multiple times to the face.

"Hey!" A young boy ran to the young girls aid. "Stop it!" He pushed the girl with the pig tails off the other girl.

"Ahh it's Dex!" The pig tail girl screamed and cried than ran away. The other kids turned around and stopped playing to look at the boy.

"Are you ok?" Dex helped the little girl up to her feet. All the other children whipered while some others left to return to their cells.

"Yeah I'm ok." The little girl had a cut on her face and a few more on her elbows and lip. She clearly wasn't ok but who could she go to that would care that she isn't? It's not se has any family or friends who would worry about her safety. She looked around her and saw that the other children were frightened. She wondered why until she saw the boy infront of her. The boy had a scar on his eyebrow and left cheek. His dark jet black hair looked blue from the intense lighting. He was tall and slender and smelled of sweat and metal.

"My name is Dex. If she ever bothers you again come find me." Dex pointed at him self and smiled. All the rumors and stories of him raced through her head and she took a small step back. She wondered how a boy like him could be the source of all the stories she heard of.

"My name is Alana." She smiled back at the young Dex.

"Oh your that Mime girl aren't you?" Alana's hands turned into a fist.

"I dont know why everyone calls me that. My name is Alana.

"Everyone gets a nickname cause of their power." He explained. "Like me, my nickname is Creator cause I can make things." Dex hesitated before speaking again. He looked around to see if the children were still watching especially if a guard had been looking at them. The children were still staring so he grabbed Alana's hand and guided her to the corner of the recreational block. Once he felt that they were far enough to not be seen he crouched down and pulled Alana down with him.

"Wanna see why?" He gave Alana a devious grin which made her a bit scared but curious as to what he can do. She nodded her head and Dex excitement was oozing out of him.
