The day was awkward, but nothing less than I anticipated. Eyes walked over me in every direction.
Why would they do this to me? For my own good? How pathetic is that.
"Is it possible to escape this" I thought as I proceeded to my locker.
*sigh
"First day here?"
He startled me. How dare you sneak up on someone buried deep in thoughts. What in tartarus was he thinking. Did he want me to get a heart attack or something.
Just then I realized I was staring at him with fish eyes.
"Oh um yeah" I stammered
"Sorry. I didn't mean to scare you. Hi I'm Caleb."
"Tera"
"Cool name"
Seriously? !? Cool name?!? Who was this guy?!
"Thanks" I said.
Closing my locker, letting out another sigh, I made my way to my Advanced Math class.
So I'm the new kid...and to make matters worse I am taking all the nerd classes. I could hear "freak" whispering through the hallways as I passed by.
"Don't take them on Tera...Just get through the day....."
