After heading through the giant door, I traveled in the dark for a moment. I thought to my self "Where's the end of this?" Then... I heard something... I heard a groan of sorts, it sounded kinda like an animal. But then... I look up and see something that makes me freeze in place. A set of bloodshot eyes staring at me from the dark. I take a second to comprehend the situation before I turn around and burst off back towards where I came in from. As I enter the room from before I stop to try and find a way to close the door... but there was nothing, so I climb back up the ladder as fast as I can entering the dark room above and then taking the elevator back to the main room.
In the main room I try to look for controls of any kind to communicate, but the only controls were the buttons blocked off by that plastic covering. I try to pull it off, but no luck, it was stuck. I decided to take a more literal sense of what that soldier told me to do and call out "Reaper!" No response... "Reaper! Something's here! Something is down here with me, I think it's one of them!" All of a sudden, I get a response, but I could barely understand it... "Do not move from that spot! Hold off for a bit alright?!... Hello?!!" The frequency was being interrupted by something... I don't know what to do... Do I stay here? Go back? I gotta do something.
Out of nowhere, the lights start to flicker for a second and it seems that the computer in front of me had to reboot. Then, a computerized voice comes on saying "Power running low. Please revert to solar generation." Solar generation?... A message then starts to type out on the computer screen in front of me saying "Activate the solar panels from the far left room when entering the ladder room." The panels will pick up solar rays coming through the water and use it for power. - Reaper" Great... I've got to go back down there.
I take the elevator back to the ladder room. I wait and listen for anything before quietly stepping out and heading to the far left room. Once I enter, I can see the controls at the end of the room. I start to head there but then... I hear it again. The groans and noises of that... thing. I quickly hide behind a pillar. I am sitting there trying to keep my self from breathing too loud or moving too much. I hear it passing by and then heading up the ladder. I am relieved to hear the silence once again. I still haven't gotten a good look at what's down here with me, but honestly, I am not sure I want to... I then head towards the controls and I activate them.
The screen in front of me informed that the solar panels have been activated... But about five seconds later, there is a deep vibrating sound that is similar to a passing car above a bunker... So with that indication, what could it have been?
