His Beta Her Alpha (MALE! Blue x Blind Raptor)

Chapter Four

Blue's POV

I rushed over to Vee who was laying on the ground motionless. I whined as I kneeled next to her. I nudged her with my head trying to wake her up. The people watching us from above were gasping and pointing their fingers at us. Some soldiers with their guns pointed them at us. I snarled at them standing over Vee protectively. 

"Put your guns down! If you shoot them they are never going to trust me again!" Owen's voice said as he slowly dropped down from the top of the cage. Why he did that, no one knows, but he stood in front of me, his back facing towards me.

"Easy Blue, she is hurt, we are going to help her." The Alpha said moving closer ever so slightly with his hands outstretched to me.

Charlie growled at the men as well and stood next to me. 

"This is your fault, they wouldn't be threatening us right now if you hadn't stopped me from killing her!" Charlie snapped at Owen's hands. He flinched and moved his hand back. "Hey! Listen to me, we aren't here to hurt her! We are here to save her." Owen said taking another step forward.   

"Will you shut up already? You are just making more of a scene. Now back off and go somewhere else." I ordered tightening my stance over Vee. I knew they wanted to help, but I could protect her myself. I can care for her myself. She is my responsibility and I can do whatever I have to to make sure she is well. 

Charlie walked away as told with a huff and a small growl. I listened to his footsteps as he walked away. But I kept my eyes on the Alpha. He started taking steps closer and closer, making me let out a low growl of warning. 

"Shh, it's okay, it's going to be okay. We are going to take good care of her, but you have to let us get to her. She could bleed out." He said softly. I closed my eyes and looked down at the sleeping figure under me. 

"Oh Vee, what am I going to do with you?" I asked myself. As I watched her, her eyes started to open slowly. 

"B-Blue? Is that you?" She sniffed the air and moved her head, growling at the sudden pain.

"Take it easy, don't move." I said suddenly getting off of her and moving to her side where I rested my head on the back of her head. "Don't move to much." I said holding her head down. 

"What's going on?" She asked, I could feel her heart starting to beat faster in her chest. 

"Nothing, it's nothing, the humans are here to help you." He said softly. "I wont let them hurt you." He swore. 

"Owen! We need to get her out of there now!" Barry called from the top of the enclosure. 

"I can't, Blue wont let me, and I can't shoot him because then they would trust me anymore and all of this work would have been for nothing! It is in our best interest to work on her in here! We can bandage her up in no time, Blue wont let the others hurt us I know it!" Owen tried to reason with them. 

"Fine, but if anything happens we are going to have no choice but to shoot them." Barry warned. 

"Understood." Owen replied. "Don't let them hurt you Blue, or else we can't help her." He whispered as he knelt down and touched Vee's head again. Blue growled lightly as a warning, and Owen retracted his hand slowly and shifted his stance so that he was more comfortable, but still on guard incase something happened. 

Blue continued to watch over Vee as the men started flooding in. When the doctor got close to her with a pointy object I growled. They weren't going to cause anymore harm to her. 

"Blue, it's supposed to numb her so she doesn't feel anything." Owen said in a slow manner so I would understand what he was saying. But he didn't have to talk to slow I could understand him perfectly fine. 

"Blue, whats happening?" Vee asked as she felt something sharp poke into her shoulder and around her neck. She even lifted up her head to snap at the doctor. 

"Easy Vee." Owen calmly said as he placed a hand on her head, this time without Blue's disapproval. 

"I am here for you Vee, always." He said softly before Vee's eyes closed and she fell into a deep sleep.
