For all that she had protested, Gina sure looked like she was interested, Bobbi thought as she noticed her friend sitting across. Sitting with her date.

A blind date. Set up by her of course.

"This is really weird. I normally don't do this kind of thing." She heard Gina say to the man, Marcus. Marcus was Bobbi's understudy and she got along well with him. Normally she wasn't one to set people up or anything but she couldn't help but notice how lonely her best friend is and who else would be perfect for her but Marcus!

So she did what any best friend would do, she forced her best friend to go out on a date.

Gina wasn't exactly looking love, She claimed that it would come if it was meant to be. So Bobbi decided to be that force. Sue her if she's wrong but would it kill Gina to try?

She hoped not. Especially not since Gina did consider and accept. The two had started chatting a bit before deciding to actually meet.

Bobbi decided to come incognito and see how it goes. She has to watch out for them after all.

Marcus still hadn't responded. Poor dude looked like he isn't sure what's happening. He must have thought that it was Bobbi messing around as usual and played along.

Ha! No wonder he let out those lame puns and jokes. Well the joke is on him cuz Gina loves those kind of things.

Brown boots tapped the floor hesitantly, "Uh...please tell me I got the right Marcus and didn't waste few minutes sitting somewhere else?"

"What?" Marcus shook his head, "No! Of course not! It's just that I didn't think-"

"That I'd actually come?" Gina shrugged. Girl. No. Don't. "To be honest, I wasn't but then you started joking around and well, I thought you showed a bit that is really you and I enjoyed our conversations."

Her hand went up as she scratched behind her neck, Bobbi noticed that she took her advice and let it loose, "You know, I actually thought this was a prank set up by Bobbi."

Gina guffawed at that, "Classic Bobbi. What say we enjoy our date and plan out something fun for her?"

Aw hell no.

"Hmm. That sounds purrfect, I'm feline this would be great!" Marcus said as he scratched his chin.

God those are terrible cat puns. Did Gina tell him she loved cats?

Gina smiled and relaxed and so did he. As though it were staged, the duo turned towards where Bobbi was sitting.

Oops.

"Miss, the bill for table 4." A waiter said as he placed the bill on her table, "they said that you're sponsoring their meal here since you seem to be intent on ...staring at them intensely, there's another way to put it."

When Bobbi looked back the table, she found it empty. Damn them. Guess her work is indeed done.

"Alright." She said as she took the bill, only to curse as she saw what was in it.

A bottle of champagne and sirloin steak with lyonnaise mayonnaise and peppercorn.
