-Danni-
Bug and I are walking to lunch together when he looks at me shyly and asks, "Danni, can I see your tattoo again?"
"Of course you can, Beetlejuice!" I exclaim. I roll up my sleeve and hold out my wrist so he can see the rose constellation.
"D-do you think the boy that ends up being your soulmate likes flowers?" he inquires.
"I don't think my soulmate is gonna be a boy. I feel like it's gonna be a girl." I whisper.
"Oh...well do you think the girl that ends up being your soulmate likes flowers?" he re-asks.
"Probably, I mean why else would I have a rose on my wrist?" I say. Bug shrugs and looks down at his feet.
"So...why do you think it's a constellation?" my best friend wonders aloud.
"I think we'll meet under the stars." I admit quietly. Bug nods his head in agreement.
"That'll be cool." he whispers. We walk the rest of the way to lunch in silence. When we get to the cafeteria, I notice Bug staring at the new girl in our class, Hazel Pines.
"Do you like her?" I question teasingly. The blond blushes and shakes his head violently.
"I don't even know her!" he says.
"So what? You can have a crush on someone without knowing them. I don't know Buffy Summers but I have a huge crush on her." I retort.
"That's different. Buffy isn't real. Hazel is." he sighs. I place a hand over my heart.
"You wound me, Beetlejuice. How could you say that Buffy isn't real?" I respond dramatically. Bug smiles and shakes his head.
