Chapter One - Strange

Another day, and ofcourse another day of school.

Here with Mom and Dad. We're eating together. One thing is on my mind right now and--

"Mom? Bakit niyo po pala ako itinransfer? I know I asked this before but you keep ignoring it. Maayos naman ang grades ko doon sa dati kong school, but why in all of a sudden?" I asked out of curiousity.

They look each other na para bang hindi nila alam kung anong isasagot o idadahilan nila.

"Anak, it's just... For you.. Diba gusto mong magkaroon ng normal life? You're famous there at wala kang privac-"

"Mom just told me yesterday to be famous as I can." I interrupted.

Tinignan ni Dad si Mom. Mom doesn't look back.

"Alam mo naman na gustong gusto lagi ng mom mo na maging famous ka, for you to have many friends. Pero, itong paglipat sayo ng paaralan. It's my decision." Dad says.

I just nod.

That was it?

"Hi! I'm Jade! We're classmates and I really want to be your friend. You're nice and gorgeous." Nakangiting pag papakilala niya sakin. Andito ako sa cafeteria, since it's a vacant time.

It's 3:15pm.

"And I'm Veronica!"

Nakangiti silang dalawa, and I smiled back.

"Sure!" I said. Nakakatuwa dahil mayroong gustong makipagkaibigan sakin. And it's just our 2nd day of school.

"Want to have a tour?" the girl named Veronica said.

"Ofcourse." I said smilingly.

And nag lakad lakad na kami, nilibot namin yung school. At bawat may hindi akong alam na places, sinasabi nila sakin. They even told me the names of the famous students here. And isa na sila doon. Jade and Veronica are bestfriends since elem, and I admit it na they are good looking.

Jade has a brown hair, which is bagay sakanya and she's so pretty. She's shorter than me and she's more whiter than me.

Veronica has a black hair and she's pretty tall. She looks gorgeous and i think she's nice.

No wonder kung bakit sikat din sila. Schools nowadays are more focused on popularity.

"And there's Aaron." Jade said habang tinuturo yung lalaking red ang hair na nalate kahapon.

"I know him." I told them.

"Yeah, prob'bly he's the late one yesterday." Jade said.

"Well, he's the most famous here in our school kasi bukod sa physical looks, he's really kind and gentleman. Hindi sya malapit sa babae, and sometimes we think na gay ba sya or what? Pero we know, na nag ka ex-girlfriend na sya. He has his group of friends called "The Hunters". We don't know exactly what does that mean, but they're cool."

While we're looking at Aaron, may apat lalaking magkakasama, na papunta sakanya.

May jaw drops.

They're colorful. I mean, like literally iba iba ng kulay ang hair. Red, blue, green, violet and light blue.

Their eyes too. It's the same with their hair.

Clearly, they're Aaron's group of friends.

"Yep. That's The Hunters." Veronica said.
