"Out of all people to be stuck with, one of them had to be Tony Stark." Wanda said, changing into a weird blue suit with the vault's number in the back that the staff gave them. It was surprisingly comfortable for it being so tight.

Victor smirked at his wife, hugging her from behind. "At least Pepper is with him. She keeps him under control." Smiling she turned in his arms, wrapping hers around his waist so she'd be hugging him. "How long do you think we'll be in here?" She asked looking up at him. "Well, it's our new home now. Walking outside would be dangerous after a nuke explosion because the air could be contaminated, or something worse." Victor said placing a stray her behind her ear.

"So what you're saying is we'll never be able to go back outside?" She frowned pulling away from the hug and putting the bag of clothes they had on in a locker. "Unfortunately. But hopefully it will clear out and we can go back outside." He said.

Sensing something was wrong when she didn't turn back around he walked up to her. To him the only thing worse then a nuclear explosion was seeing Wanda cry. If he could turn back time he would. He would bring her the moon and stars, give her a galaxy. He'd do anything to see her tears disappear. "Hey, it'll be ok, you'll see." He said hugging her tight when her shoulders started shaking.

Watching the rest of the people walk in through the door behind a window was different. It was quiet because you couldn't hear them, the window being soundproof, making everything seem peaceful. But Wanda knew that the outside was anything but peaceful. People panicking, pushing to get through before the bomb fell. She felt guilt when she realized that her and Victor were the last one here, keeping everyoneelse from entering. That's why there was a crowd.

But it was all quiet, too quiet. Here she was standing, watching the other people hurriedly walk in. Not wanting to get shut out. Then she saw the little boy they helped, his mother holding his hand. She smiled, letting out a breath she didn't know she was holding.

"Just when you think the world couldn't get any worse." Comes Nat's voice, making her jump. She came and stood next to her, watching them as well. "Are you ok?" She asked her.

"Yea, I'm just, taking it in." Wanda said. Natasha nodded turning her head to look at her. "Hopefully we won't be stuck in here forever. I mean, knowing Tony, I'm sure he'd have come up with something for the outside."

Wanda smiled at her, grateful Nat was here with her. She was about to say something when the alarm went off.

Looking outside the window she saw some people rush in, soldiers hurriedly pulling people off the bridge and out of the entrance. It looked terrible, but it got even worse when a door near them opened and they heard yelling and screaming.

"There all in close it, close it now!" They heard a soldier yell. Then they heard more screaming and yelling coming from the cave.

Both Nat and Wanda ran out the room and into the hall, not stopping when they heard someone call Wanda. They only stopped when they saw the small crowd of people watching in horror as the doors closed.

"Oh my god." Nat said, eyes on the vault door.

Soon the sirens for the door turned on, yellow lights flashing, warning everyone that the doors were closing. "Wait, don't leave us out here!" They heard a man desperately yell. Wanda thought it was terrifying until she heard a big boom from outside that left a small shake in the vault.

Then everything went slow from there. She looked around at the crowd, watching their terrified expressions, eyes glued to the vault door. She saw the man outside trip then a large group of people behind him. Then she felt the shake, like an earthquake, small trinkets falling off the tables. And the door finally close the closing. But the last thing she saw and heard, she'd never forget. It started as a glow, a small yellow glow, but then came the flames and a roar, and people screaming, oh the screaming, it was like being in a horror film. But the last thing, like if you could hear that soul, the very scared and broken 'no' right before the door closed, it set tears in her eyes. And the loud hit of the flames on the door, she couldn't. She backed away, she backed away from the crowd, from her friend who was looking down at the floor. She kept backing up, eyes still set on the door, ears still hearing that scream, she kept going until she bumped into something and felt two arms wrap around her from behind, dragging her back into the room.

Had she even blinked? Was she even breathing?

Wanda. Wanda? Wanda!

His voice was so distant. So far away. It came rushing at her like a truck, snapping her back into reality, his voice. "Wanda." Victor said caressing her cheeks, wiping all the tears away. She stared at him, seeing the worry in his eyes, then blinked and she was sobbing on him, feeling him wrap his arms around her. "It's gonna be okay."

After a while she calmed down, sniffling into his suit, feeling him rub her back and leaving a kiss on her forehead.

"We left Jarvis." She said a few seconds later. She'd miss him. "They would've kicked him out. They don't let people bring robots inside." He said.

"Why?" She said looking up at him. "I don't know. But I do know that Mr. Handys were built to withstand anything so, maybe he's still out there, cleaning a table or something." He said smiling at the end so she would know he was joking. Grabbing the collar of his suit she pulled him down for a soft kiss.

"Well that was horryfing." Tony said to the others. Everyone sat in the living area, Nat sitting back on the couch, arms crossed. Steve did the same except he was looking up at the ceiling. Bruce was in a corner somewhere needing some space. Pepper sat next to Tony, head resting on his shoulder. The rest of the group went with Thor to find food and water, needing to distract themselves with something.

"Should we check on them? They've been in the bathroom for while." Tony said, referring to Victor and Wanda. "No let them be. They'll come out when their ready to come out." Steve said, still eyeing the ceiling.

"You think we'll ever be able to go back out?" Pepper said. "I hope so, I don't want to be trapped in here forever." Tony answered. Everyone stayed silent, watched the others walk in with food. A few minutes later Victor and Wanda came out of bathroom and sat at the corner of the couch. Pepper handed them some sandwiches and water, hoping they'd eat it. Wanda surprisingly ate it quickly, still looking hungry. Victor smiled and handed half of his to her silently, watching her. She looked different in a way. Of course her face was puffy from crying but she looked...different. Maybe more beautiful, or maybe that was just him.

He looked around the room, realising that they were in a living room. There was an open kitchen in the back, and doors probably leading to the bedrooms. He also caught sight of a dining table. Then the doors to what now would become outside swished opened and a man in a white vault suit walked in.
