(Emily's POV)
I was kinda nervous about the whole date thing. But maybe it wasn't a date, maybe its just friends going to the movies together right?
I got out of bed and walked to my closet. I decided to wear a blue shirt with dandelions all over it, with jeans and black docs.
I walked to my restroom and brushed my hair, my teeth, and washed my face to get rid of the bed face.
I walked to the kitchen to grab some food, and my mom made pancakes, they were delicious.
I walked to school with Matt again, considering he's close to were I live. We started talking about the movies, and meeting there.
When we got to school I found Daisy and let Matt go to his friends, not that I had to make him my personal dog or anything.
Daisy asked if she could come over but I told her I was going to the movies with Matt. She started teasing me about it, it was her thing.
Class started and it was Friday so we had to take a test in each class, the day went bye pretty fast.
Matt walked me home and said he'd meet me there. it was like 5:30 so I had time to go pick out an outfit.
when it was 7:50 I was ready to go wearing blue converse, a PINK tank top, with a mini sweater, and jean shorts.
I texted Matt if he was there at the movies, he said he was driving there right now.
I told my mom if she could drop me off at thew movies, she said she could.
when I got to the movies I saw Matt outside sitting on a bench on his phone. I thanked my mom and went to were Matt was.
'Hey Matt.'
he looked up and smiled.
'Hey. You look beautiful.'
'Thanks.'
'The only thing there showing is The Fault In Our Stars.'
'Okay, that's a good movie.'
'Okay. let's go.'
after we got the tickets we went to go find a seat. it was pretty packed up but we found a seat just for the both of us.
i started crying almost at the end, Matt hugged me, which made me a bit warmer. (idk if that makes sense to you guys)
when we left I think I could tell Matt wanted to cry too. We started walking and talking about the movie.
While we were walking Matt held my hand. I kinda blushed and Matt laughed.
we walked in silence for a moment, listening to the other people who watched the movie. They were all crying too.
Matt looked at me and stopped, he wiped the tears off my face and cupped my face, he kissed me out of nowhere.
we stood there for a while, Matt hugging me, and me just standing there hugging him back. It was the best Friday I ever had.
When he broke the kiss, he looked at me for a long time.
'Emily, I can't help the feeling anymore. I know we've only been friends for a while but I'm in love with you, with ever thing you do, even if your just standing there. I would do anything to be with you Emily. I Love You. Will you be my girlfriend?'
I started crying. Everyone around us heard and started clapping. nobody has ever said that to me, I was crying. He wiped the tears from my face and looked at me.
everyone around us started cheering 'SAY YES.' so I nodded and he picked me up and kissed me again.
today was the best day ever.
Matt dropped me off at home, and he said he loved me and he kissed me. he wished me goodnight and so did I.
My mom asked me how it went and i told her everything that happened, she said she was happy for me.
after that I went to bed because I was sleepy. I had Matt in my thoughts, I love him.
