Scared, she ran toward the drive way. No car. That mean her mom and dad must have gone to work! Now she was locked out of her house, cold and crying and no one would let her in until 4:30!! Then she heard footsteps on the side walk. Was it a murderer? A giant bear kola thing that ate 10 year old girls who ran away from school? It came closer and closer until....AHHHHHH!!!!!! Tara screamed! Then she heard a giggle, than a snort, than a laugh! She took a rake that was near her and made way around the bush to find mason. Putting his hand over his mouth to stop from laughing. "Mason what are you doing!?" She said exasperated. " what are YOU doing!?why are home I've been waiting for in the cafeteria!"
Tara looked at the ground and blushed. Then she told mason about what happened. Mason was shocked. He felt sorry for her so he gave her a hug and waited with her until her mom came to pick her up. At 4:30.......
