Birthday

"Ah!" I exclaimed. Napaupo ako sa kama. "That was a dream." I let a heavy sighed. I took my glasses and look at the clock beside me.

Sakto, 12 am.

"Happy Birthday to me." I shrug and put my glasses down. Laying on my bed I grab my comforter and throw it up to my head.

But before I feel asleep my phone beep.

Unkown number: Happy Birthday!

I let a heavy sighed. Siya nanaman? This isn't the first time I recieved a message from this person.

'How did you know that? Sino ka ba kasi?' I texted.

This person is always sending me texts from Philippines. He or she is just wasting his/her money for texting me.

Unknown number: Finally, you replied! I thought you till didn't have any load for replying XD

Me: If you're bored then stop texting me.

Unknown number: What if I am not bored? I'm gonna text you?

Aba! Nakakaasar 'to ah!

Me: Ano ba kasi pangalan mo?

Unknown number: Why? Are you starting to like me?

Napanganga ako sa sinabi niya.

Me: So, you're a guy?

Unknown number: Why are you still not sleeping?

Me: Because you interupt my sleep.

Unknown number: Oh, my bad. Take your beauty rest now. Always remember that you're the most beautiful girl I know.

Me: How could you say that? We didn't even saw each other.

Unknown number: Good night, my Pam. My birthday gift might be late. Be safe always.

I shrug. Why does he know my name? Sino ba siya? Pero.. ang gaan ng pakiramdam 'ko sa kanya.

"Pam!" Someone yelled.

"Wah!" I yelled and suddenly fell out of my bed. "Aubrey!" I grab my glasses and heard Aubrey chuckle.

"I've been waking you up a hundred times. I though you were getting ready but when I came here you are sleeping so well." Hinawi niya yung kurtina kaya nasilaw ako. "Come on, get your butt out there, we might be late." She walk out of my room.

Kahit na sinabi iyon ni Aubrey ay bumigat lalo ang katawan ko. Dahan- dahan akong tumayo at nagtungo sa banyo.

"Ah!" I jump as the cold water touches my skin. I immediately turn the water heater and let myself move slowly. I don't want to go to school!

Once I'm done, I grab my bag and put it on the living room so I don't need to go back to my room later to get it. Hindi ko alam kung bakit tamad na tamad akong gumalaw ngayong araw.

Nang makarating ako sa lamesa ay nagulat ako ng may nakahanda nang pagkain.

"Did you cook?" I asked Aubrey and sat next to her.

"Nah, someone deliver it for free." She shrug and start to eat.

Marahas 'kong linagay sa loob ng locker ang notebook ko. Pagkatapos 'non ay walang gana 'ko itong sinara.

Mahina akong napasigaw ng biglang lumitaw sa harap ko si Nath at sa likod ko naman si Matt.

"You both scared me to death." Napahawak ako sa aking dibdib.
