It had been two hours since the group arrived. Everyone. Except Emma, are drunk off their asses. Damien, Abe, and Mark were playing poker upstairs, Jace and William were still drinking and cussing out Benjamin for advising them not to drink much. While Jonna was messing around in the fridge, eating almost all the sweets in there while the chef tried pulling her away. Emma sat on the couch, reading "Percy Jackson and the sea of monsters" not wanting to be any part of the drunken activities. "Would you like a class of water miss?" she heard.

It was Benjamin, he had a sliver tray with a champagne glass with water, she took it of the tray, "Thanks" she said as Benjamin nodded and sighed as he walked back towards the kitchen. Emma wasn't very sure why she was there, she just got the invite in the mail and she didn't want to go alone so she brought Jace along, and now she wishes she stopped Jonna from drinking so much but hey, what can you do?

. Finding the struggle between Jonna and Chef kind of silly he walked over and tried to pull them apart. "Come now Madam, Mister Mayor requested you come upstairs with him Mark and the Detective." "DaMiEn? WhAt DoEs *hic* He WaNt?" She asked as Benjamin wrapped an arm around her waist and her right arm over his shoulder to keep her from falling down the stairs. Slowly, they walked up the stairs, Jonna stumbling every few steps but they made it.

Benjamin knocked on the door as Mark yelled, "WHO IS IT?!" "It's benjamin Sir, miss Jonna as Mister Mayor requested." he responded as Mark let out a drunken laugh, "C'mon in then !!" Then he opened the door revealing the three men wasted drunk, a messy poker table covered in poker chips and dollar bills. "Ah Jonna so glad you could join us!" Abe said taking a swing from his liquor bottle in his hand, Jonna smiled as a hand slipped around her waist and pulled her down into they're lap, "We wouldn't want to bother Benjamin with getting another chair do we?" Damien let out a husky laugh, "You're a pervert Mister Mayor" Jonna giggled and blushed.

"AAAAAAAND I WIN!" Mark yelled as he threw his cards down on the table, "WHAT?!" Damien yelled as his once slicked back hair now messy and small strands falling on his face. "OH COME ON!" Abe stood up and threw his hat at the wall in rage. "You all need to calm down" Jonna said brushing back Damien's hair with her fingers back into it's original slicked back do. "Besides, it's only poker..." she continued, taking a sip from her wine glass well, her fifth glass of wine.

The poker games continued for a while. It was already 1:20 in the morning, Mark winning almost every time. but when he didnt win, he was being a sore loser about it. And on her fifteenth glass, Jonna was on the verge of passing out. Her head resting in the crook of Damien's neck and her arms around him, sleepiness clear in her eyes. Damien noticed this and got up, picking her up and walked out of the room, "Be right back." Walking to the nearest guest bedroom, he set Jonna down in the bed, she was already fast asleep. He smiled and kissed her cheek, "Goodnight." He got up and walked out of the room, closing the door.

Emma yawned a bit as she set the book down. Rubbing her eyes sleepily. She heard shuffled steps behind her, she whipped her head back and saw Jace, he was sobering up. He held his head and groaned, "I have so many regrets..." He sighed, Emma smiled and got up, "Nobody told you to have that many drinks." she said through small giggles as she hugged him. She yawned again and looked up at Jace, "Can we go to sleep?" she asked. Before Jace could answer, Benjamin came out, seemingly out of nowhere. "Sure, may I show you to your room?" A bit creeped out, she nodded. Benjamin then led them to a room right above the kitchen.

It was now 1:30 am. The poker room had gone silent. Emma thought this was weird, due to the fact that the three men inside were yelling at each other just a few minutes ago. Well, they probably went to bed. Emma slipped into the bed, with Jace next to her. she cuddled into his chest and slowly fell asleep.

The whole house was silent now, seemingly peaceful.

But nobody knew the worst was yet to come.
