"Who was that guy?" Emma asked as I started walking towards them.

"Nobody" I said with a straight face.

"He was really cute" Lola said smiling. I rolled my eyes. Why can't I meet ONE guy without having my friends hit on him or steal him away? We got into Lola's car and drove to her house.

"Let's watch a movie!" Emma said excited.

"Or, let's talk about that group of guys at the amusement park" Lola grinned.

"I liked the one with the purple hair" Emma smiled.

"Umm it was pink" Lola snapped. No offense, but being a bitch is her thing.

"Uh it was purple" Emma said back. 5 minutes of fighting over this kids hair color finally ended with my phone ringing.

"Ooh did you get that kids number" Lola tried to lean over my shoulder. I hid my phone.

"Can I have some privacy?" I asked.

"Yes. But if it's that tall guy then no" she giggled.

"Do you even know his name?" I asked.

"Do I need to?" She said all sassy and shit. I need a break from them. Emma and Lola started talking about all of the guys there and giggling and laughing. I looked down at my phone and I saw that Kian texted me.

Hey! I was wondering if you wanted to meet up tomorrow night. There's a movie playing on the beach. If you can't it's fine 😊

I smiled and responded back

That sounds really great 😋

We texted for a few minutes and we agreed on 7:30 to meet up.

"Your texting that guy aren't you!" Lola said really loud.

"I was not!" I said really defensive.

"Your smiling! It has to be him!" She said back. I didn't even realize I was smiling.

"Well, so what if it was him? Why can't we just talk?" I asked, embarrassed.

"Well when are you guys going out?" Emma asked me.

"We aren't even going out"

"Well, he obvi just asked you to go with him somewhere. Where are you guys going?" She said. How do girls do this?

"Nowhere!" I said loudly.

"Well, that's obvi a lie, so let's have a makeover!" They both squealed and started planning out what they were going to do to me tomorrow. I laughed, enjoying that I wasn't forgotten.
