You were a human, coming of age. 

You would be wed soon, but as a part of your village, first you had to complete your journey of coming of age. You were to enter the dense forest and wander for four days and three nights, seeing nature and coming to appreciate the world before you became a true adult. And so you did. You packed food and water for the trip and anything you might need in a bag before setting off into the woods. On the first night, however, the grass began to glow with each step you took; and this urged you to run. 

Mune was also coming of age, receiving his markings as a sign of becoming a man. He would begin working in earnest soon. But for now, he walked to a nearby waterfall and simply watched the flow. That was until you came romping through with a wide grin on your face, laughing at the glowing plants. He fell for you in that instance, without ever meaning to. Mune approached you, and after the initial shock, you two hit it off and spent every waking moment together. Your four days and three nights turned into a week and then two weeks. But you two were happy, what worries could you have?

A search was sent for you from the village, and you knew that if they found Mune's home it would mean battle. After all, he's been hiding you from his people. And you knew that you had to go home; go be wed to a woman you had already met. You thought she was sweet, even as you held Mune in your arms, laying in a makeshift hammock that he crafted for you both.
