I'm sure you've read stories that has the 'bad boy', I actually like reading stories with like a boy, who's bad and a girl who's the popular one and the smart one and the 'goodie two shoes'. I really like it I actually enjoy some of them. But there's always that one bad boy story that is just too predictable and cliche. It goes something like this:
Tiffany showed me around the school, telling me how things work around her. "Hey, Whos that?" I asked as stared at the boy coming my way. "Oh no, that's Ronald McDonald, I've heard lots of bad stories about him, I think he might of killed someone too, how'd he get out of jail?" Tiffany rambled. "You need to stay away from him, he's dangerous"
Okay, maybe the dangerous part isn't so bad since that's kind of what bad boys are described as, but that's usually how it is, and to be honest, I've gotten sick of it.
Second, there are a lot of small details that bother me. For instance, I don't like to have subtitles while I'm watching something, it bothers me and I always seem to focus more on the subtitles rather than what I'm watching! and another thing are small details like a piece of paper on the floor or a piece of lint on clothing, maybe I just have OCD, who knows, but there are a lot of small details while reading a story that bother me so much! For example:
OMG TIFFANY!!! Ronald is out side my house and he cant leave me alone!!!!
I actually got annoyed from my own example. Some authors should know that they could just do this:
"Omg! Tiffany!" Brittany cried "Ronald is outside my house and he can't leave me alone unless I buy McDonald's instead of Burger King!"
Ah ha! See now that's better!
Am I the only one that likes a story if it's also organized and looks better? Because I can't read a story that's just all stumbled up and no spaces in between the paragraphs! It's what I call my siblings room, very messy!
For example, I, in my opinion, don't like seeing this:
"Omg! Tiffany!" Brittany cried "Ronald McDonald is outside my house and he cant leave me alone unless I buy McDonald's instead of Burger King!" "oh no you must do something, just tell him you don't like McDonald's" Tiffany said "that's not going to work tiffany! he's just going to keep nagging me until I get McDonald's!" brittany said "OH NO! TIFFANY!!!!" brittany yelled "WHAT" Tiffany yelled "It's..It's..it's Chipotle! he's fighting with Ronald over me!" brittany explained to tiffany
Wow, I wonder who won. I'm Team Chipotle!
Anywho, I really don't like seeing that kind of mess, I sound like my mother when I say that. I only read 1 story once, with no paragraphs, and I only read it because it was actually good.
We all read descriptions right? of course we do, like we all need to know what this story is about, but sometimes the descriptions are way too long and they just told everything that is going to happen in the story. Kind of like a movie trailer, which might I add the Fault in our Stars movie trailer literally told everything that's gonna happen which pisses me off. Anyway, I really don't like long descriptions, I only like ones that are short and end with 'read to know what happens...' they'd actually give us a chance to know how this story is going to end up like!
