The sun began to rise and Aika was already up and ready for the day. Guilmon had woken not because of the sun but because he was hungry.

"You're ready for breakfast?"

She asked as she opened the door. Guilmon happily nodded.

"Yeah"

"Come on then"

She said as stepped out of the hallway but stop to turn to see Guilmon still inside the room. She frown slightly.

"Aren't you coming?"

"I can't be seen"

Aika laughed.

"Don't worry in my house you don't have to worry about being seen"

"How come? Aren't your parents home?"

"Well my mom is a stay at home mom, my dad works and my brother is usually in his room and plus the butlers and maid don't say anything"

She said as she went down the stairs with Guilmon following behind her. Together they headed to the kitchen where the cooks had plates of different food for breakfast. Guilmon's mouth watered as he saw the plates. He sat on the chair and began to eat. Aika laughed before she began to eat her plate as well in a more normal pace. After breakfast, Aika began to give him the tour.

"You want to meet my mom?"

She asked. Guilmon raised one eye brow.

"Isn't she going to get scared once she sees me?"

"Nah, come on"

She then took him to go see her mother, who was laying down on the couch passed out with a couple of beer glass bottle thrown around.

"Why is she sleeping?"

"Because she's drunk"

"Why does she drinks?"

"Because she knows my father is having an affair with another lady so that's why my mom drinks just to forget"

"What about your brother?"

"Oh he mostly stays in his room and smoke"

Guilmon looked at the passed out lady on the couch.

"I don't understand, if you guys have money why are you choosing this life?"

Aika smiled and rubbed the top of his head.

"When we are out in the city, we are seen like a perfect family but behind closed doors its a different story"

"What about your maids and butlers? Will they say anything if they saw this or me?"

"Nope, they get paid for doing their job so they ignore what they see and keep their mouth shut"

Aika then led Guilmon to the backyard where the pool and jacuzzi were at along with lawn chairs, tables underneath umbrellas.

"Wow this place is nice and big"

"Yeah it is"

She said as she sat down on the lawn chair and Guilmon sat on another one that was right beside hers. A maid then came and handed Guilmon and Aika a glass of lemonade.

"Thank you"

They said together. Guilmon happily chugging it down, he then gave the glass to the maid.

"More please"

He said. The maid nodded as she took the glass back and headed back inside. Guilmon then looked to Aika who was looking up at the sky.

"By any chance does Takato knows about your family?"

Aika shook her head.

"My friendship with Takato is a hi and bye kind of thing. We don't talk for long and he doesn't come over."

"How did you two meet?"

"We meet in school actually before my parents putted me in a private school. I saw two boys bullying him and took my stand against them until they left him alone"

"Wow your really brave"

Aika giggled.

"I guess you can say that"

The maid then return with another glass of lemonade for Guilmom. He happily thanked her and drank it all up. The maid was about to refill it but Guilmon stopped her.

"Thanks but that's enough for me"

"As you wish"

She said leaving the two alone.

"She seems nice"

Guilmon said after looking at her retrieving form before looking at Aika.

"Yeah she is, honestly she is the one that actually raised me instead of my mom. My mom called me a crybaby so she got a maid for to take care of me, as I was growing up, I really did thought she was my biological mother but when my mother heard me call the maid mom, my mom got mad and yelled at the maid"

"Harsh"

"Yeah"

They remained quiet to enjoy the nice breeze and continued to talk getting to know each other. Until the maid came back outside.

"Lunch is ready would you like for me to bring it out here?"

The maid asked. Aika smiled and looked to Guilmon who hungrily licked his lips.

"Mmmm lunch"

"Would you like it out here or inside?"

She asked.

"Can we have it out here?"

"Sure we can. Bring it out please"

The maid nodded and left to retrieve the food from the kitchen and in less than a few minutes she was carrying two trays. She set them up on the table as Guilmon and Aika made their way to the table. Guilmon was the first to get there and happily began to eat even Aika's plate.

"Hey"

She said with a playful pout with her hands on her hips. The maid slightly bowed beside her.

"I made extra just in case"

Aika smiled and nodded.

"Great, thank you so much"

She said happily as she sat beside Guilmon and waited for her food to arrive. Guilmon stopped eating for a minute to look at Aika.

"Aren't you going to eat?"

Aika playfully narrowed her eyes at him.

"I was but a certain red digimon decided to eat my plate"

Guilmon laughed nervously.

"Sorry"

"No need to apologize, I made more"

The maid said with a ton of food on the tray causing Guilmon's eyes to light up and Aika to laugh.
