'Yo, Jamie,' Blake Toretto called up the stairs; 'Where's Rhys at?'

The girl leant on the railing, her eyes scanning the small group of twenty cars on the warehouse floor beside her; a mixture of muscle cars and sports cars.

'Didn't he take that car out for a spin?' Jamie called back.

'Yeh, that was two hours ago,' She called back.

'I don't know then.'

'Damn, I got a client coming in ten and need to know if that Camaro has been looked at.'

'He took the Camaro out.'

'He didn't.'

'Yes, ma'am.'

'Meirda.'

She hit her hand against the railing and pulled her phone out again, dialling Rhys' number for the tenth time. As his voicemail sounded in her ear again, she swore loudly and threw her phone across the room.

'Maldito, I'm going to kill him,' She yelled.

'Blake, breathe,' Jamie's voice came from behind her.

She took a deep breath in as he handed her a cigarette, 'That car is all our wages this week. It doesn't sell, we have no food on the table.'

'I know. But, Rhys will be back.'

'I'll fire him if he's not.'

Jamie chuckled, nodding his head as he wrapped an arm around her shoulders; leading her out the back to work on a car to take her mind off things. Though he didn't make it the whole way as his phone rang in his pocket, waving her on as he answered it. She popped the hood and began to work away, Jamie walking over to help her out. The client turned up right on time, leaving her telling Jamie to call Rhys and tell him she was going to fire him.

'So, where's my car?' The man asked.

'Right downstairs, I just need to get some papers signed and I'll take you down,' Blake lied.

'Good. Good. I am pleased... The money is in the bag.'

She nodded and glared at Jamie from the railing, watching as he held his phone up to his ear; his eyes holding hers until he pulled the phone away, shaking his head. With a long, strained sigh, she continued to lead her client over to her desk; quickly snatching the paperwork from Jamie's on the way past. She sighed as she sat down, going through the paperwork with the client; getting him to sign in the right places. Her eyes flickered down to the floor, Jamie throwing his hands up in the air; frustration clear on his features.
