Amnesia

Okay so the titles of the chapters will be the song I have on repeat while writing this.With Skinny Love I put a song on repeat and with the other stories I just put on my favorites playlist.

Dana's POV:

Me and Andrea walk into her house.She sits down and I sit next to her.I look at her.I look at her lips,I want to kiss her again.I see her looking at me from the corner of her eye.She turns and I take that as my chance.

I crash my lips on hers,our lips moving in perfect sync.It feels amazing...but it's wrong.She is drunk.

"We shouldn't do this."I say.

"What it's not like we're gonna have sex."She says her lips still in mine.

"You're drunk."I say and pull away.

She looks down at her fingers.

"Look I L-"I start

"Can you please just leave.Now. "She cuts me off.

"Andr-"

"Now! Just go please! "She yells.

I look at her then leave.I love her I really do,but how would we even work. I'm in a band and we have to tour,sure Gabe and Cole have girlfriends and still do work,but I just don't know if it'll work or if she'll even want to try.

My phone began to ring and our manager Jill's name was on my screen.I answer.

"Hey Jill."I say and run a half through my hair.

"Hey,we need you and the guys back to L.A I've already called the other guys."She says.

"What?"

"Your friend David he wants to be in the band he's going to audition so you guys need to be here by Saturday."

"That's in 5 days!"

"Sorry Dana,but that's just how it is.I'll see you in 5 days."She says and hangs up leaving me shocked.

I stand there for a little bit longer and then run into Andrea's house.

She is no longer in the living room so I walk into her room,she's not there either. I hear something fall from her bathroom.

The door is slightly open I open the door and see her sitting on the floor her back faced my way.I see small drops of blood on the floor and then I rush next to her.

"Dana?"

"Why would you do this?"I question her.

"So many reasons."She says not even caring her thigh is bleeding.

She was no longer in jeans and was in basketball shorts and tank top.

"I thought you stopped."

"I thought you cared."She snaps.

"I do,you didn't do this because of me did you?"I ask.

"No.I do this a few times a month I guess."She answers.

I grab a lot if toilet paper and put on her thigh.

"Where do you keep your band aids the cut isn't that long so it should cover it."

She points to the mirror on top of the sink and I grab the box.I put one over the cut and help her up.I pick her up and lay her down on the bed.

"Please please don't this again.I can't loose you."I say and kiss her head.

She grabs my wrist.

"Wait.Will you stay here with me tonight.Not to have sex or anything,but like how we used to sleep over."

I smile.

"Yeah let me call my mom and tell her I won't be there tonight."

After I make the call I climb in bed with Andrea.I them remember what Jill had told me.

"Andrea."

"Yes Dana."

"I'm leaving."

she turns to look at me.

"What."

"Well not right now.Not today or tommorow."

"When?"She asks.

"Friday,probaly that night."

She doesn't say anything she just hugs my torso and sobs into my chest.I rub her back trying to sooth her.

-Flashback-
"Dana,will you please stay with me?"

I smile and sit back down on the grass.

"Sure."

"Aren't you gonna call your mom?"She asks.

"I'm 13 she shouldn't worry."

"I still think you should call her."She says.

"Fine if I must."I say causing her to giggle.

After I told my mom I lay next to Andrea.
"Do you want to go to bed now?We can't just stay in my backyard all night."She asks.

"Why not?"

"Becaue grass is itchy."

"I'll get blankets and pillows."I say getting up.
"

"Don't forget the blanket I use all the time."She says.

"I know."

I get the blankets and pillows and walk back outside.She stands up so I can set up the blankets.

After I'm done putting the bottom blankets and pillows She lies down.I put her blanket over her then get under with her.

She turns to face me and hugs my torso and snuggles her head in the crook of my neck and I wrap my arms around my best friend.I miss the top of her head.

"Goodnight Andrea."

"Goodnight Dana"

And we fall asleep like that.
-End of flashback-

"I will call and text you and Alex everyday.I'm not going to make the same mistake."I promise her.

"You swear?"she ask her voice small.

"I swear."

I wish that I could wake up with amnesia and forget about the stupid little things like the way it felt to fall asleep next to you and the memories I never can escape cuz I'm not fine at all
