With their performance day nearing, Jennie decided to spend most of her free time on either practicing for their music class or following Yoongi around.

Today, she chose to spend more time on practicing because the performance day is just a week away.

She had just finished singing and has been sitting alone on one of the benches in their school's garden for an hour already.

She hummed to herself while scrolling on her phone, waiting for her driver to pick her up.

She stood up when she received a text from her driver saying that he's already at the parking lot and started walking to the main entrance.

Right at the moment she turned around a corner, she saw Yoongi walking while zipping his backpack.

"Yoongi!" she called him loudly and started to run to his direction. "Min Yoongi!"

Yoongi's steps halted when he heard someone call his name and he shut his eyes tightly when he realized who it was.

"Hey, Yoongi, how are you?" Jennie asked him while tugging on his shirt's sleeve.

Yoongi looked at her with distaste before his eyes shifted into a glare.

"What do you need?" he asked with annoyance in his voice. He looked like he was holding back himself from snapping.

"Can I walk out with you?" Jennie beamed towards him before anchoring her arm with his.

Yoongi gritted his teeth at the sudden contact of Jennie's soft skin with his.

"Let go." He said but Jennie did not listen.

She even tightened her arm around Yoongi's while giggling.

"Are you deaf? I said let go!" He raised his voice and it made Jennie wince.

She looked at his face and saw the fury in his eyes.

"Y-yoongi, are you angry?" she asked nervously.

"What does it look like to you? Do I look happy to you?" he glared at her before shaking her hands off of his own. He started walking away from Jennie.

Jennie furrowed her eyebrows while looking at Yoongi's back.

"What is your problem, Min Yoongi? Why are you like this? You weren't like this when we were in freshman and sophomore year." Jennie snapped, finally done with Yoongi and his awful behavior. "We used to be friends but what happened? Why are you doing this to me?" her last words were barely audible.

He stopped walking and turned around, smirking sarcastically.

"Are you really serious right now, Jennie Kim? You really wanna know why I'm so pissed at you to the point where I wanna leave this fucking school?" Yoongi crossed his arms. "Oh, I've got a long fucking list of reasons on why I should hate you but let me summarize it for the both of us." he said before walking back to where Jennie stood. "You are so damn annoying. You keep prancing around the school like some diva who's after some fucking attention. You act like you own the world which is so fucking irritating. You love poking your nose into someone else's business. You act like you're cute and all but fuck it Jennie Kim, you're not cute and neither pretty. You were never beautiful in my eyes."

Jennie stood there with her mouth open and her eyes wide.

"I don't wanna see you, feel you and hear you anywhere near me, Jesus I don't even wanna breathe in the same room as you. You are so damn annoying that I wish we've never ever been friends." Yoongi gritted his teeth. "Besides, I don't even like you. Who would like someone as bossy and prissy as you? No one, Jennie. No one."

Jennie felt tears pooling on the corner of her eyes but she tried to blink them away.

It hurts to hear someone insult you but hearing it from someone you really like bears an incomparable pain.

"Now, Jennie Kim, were those enough? Are those reasons enough for you to leave me alone?" Yoongi asked while staring directly at Jennie's glossy eyes.

Jennie opened her mouth to speak but stopped when she felt her cheeks getting wet.

Tears started to roll down her face while she choked down her sobs.

She sniffed before speaking, tears still pouring out of her eyes.

She tried to laugh it off while fanning her face. "D-damn dusts. T-they're going inside my eyes."

"Y-yoongi," she inhaled deeply before breathing out. "t-that was a bit harsh. Slow down, will you?" she tried smiling but more tears just poured out of her eyes. "You don't really mean those things, right?"

Yoongi uncrossed his arms and shrugged.

"I just told you my opinions. It's annoying how you follow me around like a lost pup. Go annoy someone else now." Yoongi calmly said. "I can't deal with dumb people like you."

He turned his back on her and started walking away.

Jennie looked at his retreating back, his words slowly starting to sink.

"I hate you. So. Much." she whispered to herself while trying to wipe her tears away.

Yoongi wasn't supposed to hear it but he did and what he said made Jennie's heart crumble into pieces.

"The feeling's mutual, Miss Kim. I hope I won't see you ever again." Yoongi said before turning to a corner and disappearing from Jennie's sight.

Jennie wanted to follow Yoongi, tell him that she didn't mean what she said but when she took a step, she felt her legs wobble and give away.

She crashed and slumped on the floor while sobbing. Yoongi's words stung but what pained her even more is not once did Yoongi ever looked back after that.

"What did I ever do to deserve this kind of pain?"
