"Hey, Yoongi!" Jennie ran towards the black haired guy who was busy fiddling with his phone.
The boy looked up when he heard someone call his name. His twinkling eyes shifted into a blank stare when he saw the girl in front of him. He frowned slightly before returning his eyes to his phone screen and getting back to the game he was playing.
Jennie pouted before she sat down beside Yoongi.
"Oh, okay? I can see that you're busy." she smiled before speaking again. "But uhm, do you want to eat lunch with me?" she asked and grinned at him.
Yoongi didn't respond to her. As always.
"Hey, it's my treat." Jennie said and poked Yoongi's left cheek multiple times.
'He looks so cute. Uwu~' Jennie thought to herself while still poking Yoongi's puffy cheek.
Yoongi swatted her hands away before wiping his face with his sleeve. He glared at her before standing up and walking away.
Jennie stood up to follow him but stopped when she saw him clenching and unclenching his fist.
"Uhm, okay. Well, see you later at lunch. Let's eat together at the cafeteria. Bye!" she called after him loudly but Yoongi paid no heed to it.

"Jennie, come and sit with us." Jisoo, a senior and Jennie's best friend, told her when she saw the younger enter the cafeteria.
Jennie walked over to Jisoo who stood in front of a vending machine.
"Uh, no thanks eonnie. I have a lunch date with my Yoongi." Jennie told the older while smiling widely. She placed her hands under her face and wiggled it.
Jisoo laughed at her.
"Wow! He actually agreed to eat with you? That's great! Congratulations!" Jisoo beamed at her before hugging her. The older is so proud of Jennie because this is the first time Min Yoongi agreed to eat with her. Or so she thought.
"Uh, maybe something like that." she said while fixing her hair. She's excited. Too excited, actually.
Jisoo pulled away from the hug and smiled at her.
"Okay then. I'll go ahead. Jin's waiting for me." Jisoo told Jennie before turning around and walking towards the table she shared with her boyfriend.
"Sure, eonnie. Eat well, you guys." Jennie called after Jisoo to which the older just responded by raising her hand and nodding.

Fifteen minutes before the lunch ends but Min Yoongi was still missing in action.

Jennie's painstakingly long afternoon classes came to an end and she grinned at the thought. She looked up from her desk while chucking her books inside her bag and saw Yoongi going out of their room. She stood up and ran after Yoongi while hastily trying to zip her bag.
She had bumped into some of her classmates while running towards the door but she ignored their protests and whines.
"Yoongi!" she saw him walking towards his locker.
Yoongi didn't spare her any attention. Again.
"Why didn't you come to our lunch date?" she asked him while pouting. She strongly believes that her pout will affect the guy.
"Tss." he just glanced at her before starting to walk away briskly, his plans on leaving his bag inside his locker were put aside.
"Hey, Yoongi!" Jennie fastened her pace to walk beside him and held his hand.
'Gosh! His hand is so soft. I could hold onto this forever.' she smiled at the thought while squeezing Yoongi's hand and rubbing circles on his knuckles.
Yoongi looked back at her and glared.
"Let go," he told her. At first, Jennie was hesitant but when she saw that his face looked really pissed off, she let go of his hand.
"Yoon---" "Shut the fuck up! Leave me alone!" Yoongi yelled at her. "Leave me the fuck alone if you wanna see another daylight." he said threateningly before walking away.
Jennie looked at his retreating back.
'Did he just swear at me? Seriously?' Jennie stared at his back in disbelief while scratching her head.
