Can't Protect Him For Long

Carly's Point of View:

I manage to keep an eye and follow Gabe and Nolan wherever they went in the school. I snuck into the locker room to over there conversation about Gabe giving Liam credit for what he did about shooting up Scott's house. Not long after that discussion, Nolan left the room. Leaving Gabe alone, or so he thought he was alone.

"You know you can't keep covering up for him, right?" I said as I stepped out of the shadows.

"You and I know both know that Nolan can't do anything, he can't even protect himself" I added.

"Yeah I know that. I'm surprised to see you here" he said rubbing the back of his head.

"Well, I'm surprised to be here and talking to you" I explained.

"You must have a reason for why you're here?" he said as he stepped a little closer.

"Yes, I do" I said looking down and not wanting to look him in the eyes.

"Are you going to tell me what it is you want to say?" he said as he stepped closer and grabbed my hands.

"I bet if you guess you'll probably get the answer right" I suggested.

He comes closer and I place my hands on his muscles as he places his hands on my waist.
"I miss you" he says softly.

"I miss you too" I say back.

"You know I love you" he said as he tries to look at me.

I finally look at him after not looking at him for a while, "And I love you too" I said.

"You know who you want to side with?" he asks me.

I nodded my head "Yes. I do... I want to side with you" I answered.

"That's my girl" Gabe said as he kissed my forehead.
He then leaned forward and placed his lips on mine. After kissing each other for a while now, we finally pulled away from each other.

"But if I side with you... I need to know how to use a weapon" I said.

"You will... I can teach you, tomorrow, we can skip school and go into the woods and practice there" he said.

"Okay" I smiled and nodded to his answer.

He smiled and gave more one more kiss and I couldn't help but smile back at my boyfriend.
