They walked only a few steps further, when they bumped into a wall.
"Well this is a dead end too then I guess..." Fireboy shrugged.
Watergirl shook her head, "No, look up."
Fireboy looked up, and saw that the wall stopped a meter or three higher. "Well then I suggest we jump up there."
Watergirl didn't hesitate, and jumped onto the platform with ease, quickly followed by Fireboy, who also reached it, but stumbled when he landed, "Where to now?"
"Well, the roof is still open, we could try jump onto it?" Fireboy pointed out.
Watergirl looked at the edge of what was the roof of the area below them. It looked close enough to jump onto, so she nodded. Fireboy jumped, and landed more easily this time. Watergirl came up after him.
"Look!" FB pointed at the wall, "More instructions."
...GREEN MUD KILLS THEM BOTH...
"Green mud?" WG questioned, and Fireboy pointed at a mirky green puddle ahead of them, "Ewww...."
"On we go, I guess." Watergirl ran up to the puddle, and leapt over it, quickly followed by FB, "Something's glowing there, look."
"No, look here," WG pointed out, "Levers..."
...LEVERS REMAIN AS YOU LEFT THEM...
"So then this must be one of those levers." FB stated, as he walked up to the yellow, glowing thing.
It was a stick with a knob on the end, fastened onto some sort of platform. The stick was just about as tall as Fireboy himself, and rather wide, taking up most of the space in the narrow passage.
"Looks like it to me..."
"Well how do we switch it?"
"Push it."
Fireboy did as instructed, and groaned a little as he pushed the heavy switch over. There was a 'click', and in the distance they could see a platform light up, and lowering itself.
It moved slowly down the wall, stopping when it nearly touched the ground.
He walked up the lever, and hopped down on the other side. Watergirl followed Fireboy over the lever, towards the glowing yellow platform.
They hopped on, and only then realised that they wouldn't have made it to the next floor without the platform.
They leaped up onto the next level, and Fireboy touched another glowing red diamond in mid-air, which dissolved into red dust.
"Look..." Watergirl pointed at the floor, "A button?"
It was a small purple and gold platform, about the size of Fireboy's head. He stepped on it, and it started sinking down into the ground.
"Whoa!" He exclaimed, and quickly stepped off it again.
The small hexagon rose back to the surface.
"Wait, step on it again, I saw something light up ahead."
He stepped on the button again cautiously, but didn't step off when it started sinking again. When the top of the platform reached floor level - you know, like button usually do - it stopped.
Watergirl looked up ahead, and saw another platform in the distance, this one was glowing purple.
A blue diamond shone light on the wall ahead of them, which read,
... PUSHERS HOWEVER MUST BE HELD...
"So... You stay here, I'm gonna check that out." Watergirl suggested.
She dissolved the blue diamond, and carefully stepped onto the purple glowing platform
Watergirl leapt up, and reached for the edge of the next level.
And missed.
She tried again, but couldn't manage to reach the higher platform.
"Fireboy, I can't reach it!"
"Uhh? Should I....?" Fireboy stepped off the button, and Watergirl had to regain her balance as the purple platform had stopped glowing, and started moving upwards slowly.
It stopped when it neared the edge, and Watergirl hopped off.
She could hear Fireboy shout something, but she wasn't sure what he was saying.
She saw another people and gold platform in front of her, and stepped on it. It lowered into the ground, as the other one had done with Fireboy, and the platform sank down to the ground again.
A few seconds later, Watergirl stepped off it again, and Fireboy appeared beside her.
...YOU CAN INTERACT WITH OBJECTS...
The passage sloped up a little further on, and there seemed to be something blocking their way further.
As they neared, Fireboy and Watergirl noticed that it was a block of stone with golden plating on the corners.
Fireboy went up to it, and shoved it.
It slid over the floor easily.
"Come on, help me."
Watergirl rolled her eyes, and helped Fireboy push the stone block.
It suddenly slipped, and fell down.
Watergirl hopped down after it, and shoved it a little further.
The hallway opened up a little, and she could see a blue diamond floating above her.
...DON'T FORGET TO GRAB SOME DIAMONDS!
Watergirl jumped up, and grabbed the diamond, quickly followed by Fireboy. They hopped over to the next level, and spotted two more red diamonds, and one more blue.
...OPEN THE DOORS BY STANDING INFRONT OF THEM.
There were two stone doors in the wall, one with a red 'male' symbol, and another with a blue 'female' symbol on it.
"So do we just..." Watergirl walked up to the first door, and stood in front of it.
Nothing happened.
"I think you should try the other one..."
Watergirl went up to the other door, and was startled by the grinding sound of the stone door opening,
There was a long passage there, and Watergirl couldn't see the end.
"Ehhh, I'm not going in there..."
"I think we have to."
Fireboy stood in from of the door with the red symbol on it, and it opened as well.
As soon as it had stopped opening, the floor started moving.
Watergirl had trouble regaining her balance, but quickly realised what was happening, "Fireboy‽"
"Watergirl‽"
Darkness fell around them both.
