The next day Aaliyah told me she had to go to school. I looked at her, and told her "well, it's not bad to give it another chance, right?"
We were walking to school and it was an enjoyable journey because it started snowing.

When I arrived, all I could see were posters and people handing in some papers about the ball during that month and the elections for the queen and king.
There was this girl Mia and her boyfriend Josh at the entrance which were handing in some pins for everyone to vote for them as the queen and king. I passed by Josh's side and he smiled at me and that moment went really slow and I totally felt a crush on him. His expression showed me he did, too. Shawn's expression when he saw I was looking Josh, was pretty bad. He looked angry. He was angry. He pretended not to be, but he couldn't hide it. I asked him what was going on and he said: "tell ya' later".
He then asked me if Josh had told me something. I said "no", but it seemed like he was looking for a "yes", that a "no" couldn't be possible. I just told him to calm down because I actually didn't get why he was in that mood, but he just shouted at me "You don't understand!", which actually freaked me out. I stood silent for a moment and then I left the room we were in. I heard a sigh, and a "wait...sorry, I..." while I was leaving, but I didn't stop.
I went towards my class. Shawn wasn't in my class, but somehow Aaliyah was in my class, although she's younger: it was a Design and Technology class, so we were together and she asked me what had happened to me. I told her that Shawn had gone crazy and she answered "yeah, I hate when he does that", and then the class started.
We started planning a model for a project about building objects and printing them in the 3D printer. Those objects should be able to help disabled persons, and a girl named Olivia, who I had met that day, was with me in the project.
After, I had Philosophy, which I would like to say that was very entertaining but...no, it wasn't. I barely fell asleep in that class.
Then we had a 20min break time. I bought a red apple in the school's drugstore. Yum...I had always loved apples. In fact, they had always been my favorite food. I went to my locker, where I found Olivia talking with some girls. "Hey, Via!", I said, and then she said hello and blah blah blah, and she introduced me to the other girls. Alissa was super fun. She was blond, tall, and had brown-honey eyes. She was very nice to me. Then, Diana was the sporty one. She had a white jean, black Adidas, and a very nice jean-shirt.
However, that was not what made her sporty: while Diana was looking to another side,  Alissa whispered to me: "look at this", and then she ran to the other side of the hall and threw a plastic ball to her. "Diana!", she screamed. What happened next was literally the best thing I saw. Diana took off her gray glasses, made a backflip or whatever it is called, jumped, and with her height I could tell she could have touched the roof if she had jumped a bit higher, like, seriously, and grabbed the damn single little plastic ball.
I meant, what kind of human could even do that? I couldn't hide my expression. She was spectacular. She had blue eyes and brown dark hair.
The next week we'd become the best friends in the world. They were the kindest persons, and whenever I needed a smile, I knew who to call: that was them. I liked the way they could be serious and fun at the same time. That was something that didn't happen with my friends in Argentina.
After that week, there were three weeks left to the ball (school dance).
I was finding really difficult to ignore Josh, which I really felt a crush on, but he was making it difficult to me because he always tried to say nice for nice but attracting things to me- but I had always pretended not to be interested.
I really didn't know why I was ignoring him. Like, if I liked him, and he wanted something with me, then why did I feel it was wrong be with him? Well, he had a girlfriend, Shawn is jealous or angry for some reason, and Christian in Argentina kind of wanted something with me so....yeah, many things were wrong. Luckily, they were solved in no more than three days.
Josh's girlfriend had become obsessed with the dance thing. He figured out she only wanted him because he was popular, so she would become the queen. Knowing that, they broke up and he was completely free.
The other thing, was that Christian had posted an Instagram picture with a girl, and a caption saying "Love ya', my girl." Then I texted Chris, and we said to each other that from that moment onwards we would be friends.
Do not misunderstand me: it wasn't that we were on the friend zone, and that we said "let's just be friends", no, nothing like that. We just chatted normally, and at the end of the conversation, we saw that there was nothing between us.
And the only thing...see what the heck was happening with Shawn.
It was Friday and it was stage third period when I had biology. There was a project in couples and guess what: I was with Josh. Diana was with Shawn. Alissa was with Justin. They both looked at me with a look like "Mmmm, you're with Josh...get 'im". I answered with a smile like "You know I don't know what I'm gonna do!"
Shawn saw the looks. He was bitting his pencil and looking at me. I just looked away from him.
The next week, we had two more classes: Wednesday and Friday. On Friday, we were supposed to finish that project, but we didn't, so we started to discuss. I was picking up my things and before I could finish grabbing all of them, Josh put his hand on my shoulder, making me turn around, and we were face to face. I had never looked at his face so well before: he had the greenest eyes I had ever seen. His blond hair was crossing his face.
So Josh was the popular, cool, muscular guy in school.

BIO. CLASS, NEW YORK
JOSH: I guess you won't discuss now... (I laugh)... What?
ME: Agh, Josh...Look. I just wanna finish this, OK?
JOSH: Where do I pick you up?
ME: Excuse me?
JOSH: You want to finish what we started, right?
ME: We? I did all the work, Josh! Please-
JOSH: Stop kidding. You go to the library after school, and then I'll take you to dinner-
ME: 8 PM?
JOSH: At Romeez.
ME: I guess we have to finish, then.
(People in the background start saying 'oooh' or 'wow!')

Shawn looked at me.

...Could he be jealous?

No. It couldn't be. That was impossible...right? No. Impossible. Impossible

My thoughts seemed to stay like that all the time.
