HALLOWEEN COSTUMES
I'll BE...
By: Maria LambdinI peek into the closet,
And what then, shall I see?
A door behind the clothing,
Causing me, disbelief!Open the door, I dare.
And in the room, I stare.
I stare at my family heirlooms,
A room that's full of costumes.Stepping into the doorway,
I begin by clearing my airway,
"Anyone there?" I shout,
And then I see a scout."Run my friend,
Or your life will end!"
He cries hysterically,
And vanishes miraculously. Then comes the bear,
Brown and matted,
Scary yet furry,
"Hi, my name is Murphy!"Alas, it is but a boy,
A boy in a costume.
A brown matted bear,
A scary furry bear.Next comes the breeze,

Chemistry, everywhere.

Demented.
Moaning.
Groaning.
Terrorizing.
Brain-eating,
Life-sucking.
Zombie.
His name was Rambie. We've met Murphy the Bear,
Jane the Elsa,
Mike the Albert Einstein,
And Rambie the Zombie.
Who's next?None other than Lucy and Jacob,
Come along now.
A cute little couple,
Romantically drowned.Princess and prince.
Here till the end,
Always on the mend,
They're the princess and prince.Princess with blond hair,
Prince with brunette,
Princess with green eyes,
Prince with a set,
Of black eyes.All the costumes,
Surrounding me,
I must choose,
Which speaks to me.
I'll be...
