Chapter 2:Not-So-Cheap-Trick

It was a peaceful morning in a small town,not known by many.The few people that do know of it call it "No Name" because no one could decide on what to call it.Anyway,it is very old,as you can tell by the streets,which are all paved with smooth stone,and the village-like houses,cozy and traditional.In the center of it is a small,traditional market with people selling things like fruit,seeds,and bread.One stand in particular stands out,though.(Haha,I'm so punny)It has this giant roof with a sign on the front that reads: 'Selling Original Music-100% Real and NOT Decent Rip-Offs.'

One guy walks by and looks at the sign."Well,at least he tried...I think." That's all he could really say about it.He started walking off when he was tugged on the shirt by someone behind him."Hey,Nani,slow down!",a voice from behind told him.He turned around to see a scrawny kid that looked to be around 18(same as him),who was panting and sweating and looking all-around worn out."What is it,Mori?",the guy,that apparently went by Nani,replied.

"I...need...a break..."

"Ok,we'll stop here."

"Hey,anyone actually gonna buy anything?",the cloaked guy running the stand said behind them.The two looked at each other and looked back at him."I...guess it couldn't hurt to look."said Nani,who got a simple head nod in return from Mori.They browsed the covers of tacky albums with the names written on pieces of tape that were stuck on."These all seem pretty familiar..."Nani said,starting to get a bit suspicious.The cover names were all obvious rip-offs from well-known songs:

'Hit Me With Your Worst Shot'
'Paint it Grey'
'Green-eyed Girl'
'Not-So-Cheap-Thrills'
and last but not least...
'I Wear My Gucci Glasses at Night'

Nani looked at all of them and wondered if he might possibly be able to buy one to make the guy that ran the stand feel better about not selling much when Mori held up an album and said,"Hey,look!This one costs 20 dollars!" Nani looked at the prices on all the others and noped so hard,memes suddenly looked very dull.
