My Reason

GRANTING WISHES

Jungkook had been living with his new family for a month now and had completely fallen in love with his new hyungs. They were everything he hoped for in a family. They never treated him as a new member of their family, but as if he'd been a part of them for years. He felt loved and special. 

He took his notebook out of his side table drawer and opened it to his wish list.

                             *go on my first date

                             *have my fist kiss

                             *fall in love ✔

He checked off his road trip wish and sighed happily. They had just returned from an amazing road trip around South Korea, places he was sure were no big deal for others, but for him were huge.

They stopped at many places, but the most memorable places were:

Homiegot Beach, Guinsa, The Daegu Cable Cars, and Boseong Green Tea Farm. 

Kookie smiled as he also checked off  'visit the beach' from his list, remembering how beautiful it was. The most beautiful thing about Homiegot Beach was the pair of statues called 'The Hands of Harmony'. One hand rose out of the earth while the other rose straight out of the sea.

It was so beautiful, he asked his hyungs to wake him early so he can watch and snap a photo of the sun rising between the fingers of the statues.

Guinsa was a Buddhist Temple, home of Cheontae School of Korean Buddhism and houses a thriving community of up to 10,000 monks and followers of Buddhism. They shared a meal with the monks, the meal a simple vegetarian dish, but very good. The Complex of Temples were the most beautiful temples Jungkook had ever seen. They were even allowed to spend the night within the temple itself. Before they left  Jungkook got to be blessed by the temple monks, which was an amazing experience.

Yoongi hyung and Tae were very excited about visiting Daegu, as it was their hometown. They rode the cable cars up into the mountains where they enjoyed an amazing view. 

Kookie giggled at the memory of Jin hyung and Tae quickly covering his eyes and ears when they stumbled upon a couple having a tryst in the bushes, much to Jin and Tae's horror, and Yoongi hyungs amusment.

It was later that they found out that area was known for lovers stealing some "private time". Yoongi and Tae had sworn adamantly that they didn't know it was a famous trysting spot. Jungkook wasn't quite sure what a tryst was and thought about asking his hyungs, but seeing how quick they were to get him back to the cable car, Jin hyung scolding Yoongi and Taehyung about almost exposing him to "such a thing", Kookie didn't think he'd be told, but at least he got some pretty pictures of the lovely view before they made their way back down the mountain.

Their last stop before heading home was Boseong Green Tea Farm. There were rows of pretty fields of green tea plants. They hiked all around the farm, and even enjoyed some green tea ice cream. 

A knock on his room door had Jungkook quickly closing the notebook and placing it back within the drawer of the side table before getting up to open the door. Suddenly his legs gave out, sending him crashing to the floor with a loud thump. His door flew open revealing Hoseok, who quickly ran to his side.
