My Reason

FIRST DATE AND CONFESSION OF LOVE

Jungkook couldn't be happier, or excited. Taehyung asked him out. On an actual date! Jin and Jimin hyungs were helping him get ready, as it was becoming difficult for him to do much on his own now. 

"There." Jimin said as he finished styling his maknae's hair. Just as Jin finished tying the boy's shoe, there was a knock at the door.

"I'll get it." Jimin said, getting up from the bed. Jimin opened the door to reveal Namjoon on the other side. He opened the door wider, stepping back to allow him entry. Namjoon stepped inside, his eyes falling on the maknae.

"You look very handsome Kookie." Namjoon complimented.

The maknae smiled his bunny smile. No matter how sick the boy was, his special bunny smile never dimmed. "Thank you hyung. Do you think Tae will like it?" Jungkook asked nervously.

"He loves everything about you, don't worry. Are you ready?"

At Jungkook's nod, Namjoon gently lifted the boy and made his way out of the room and downstairs where Taehyung waited.

Tae was nervous. He wanted this, Jungkook's first date, to be perfect. He was so lost in his thoughts he didn't notice his hyungs had stopped their conversation until Yoongi tapped him on his shoulder.

"Taehyung."

"Huh?" Tae turned to his hyung.

"Look." 

Yoongi pointed toward the staircase. Tae followed his hyungs finger to see Namjoon carrying his beautiful date downstairs. Taehyung hurried over and took Jungkook's hand in his as their hyung set him down.

"You look beautiful."

Jungkook blushed at the compliment but continued to smile. "Thank you. So do you."

Tae offered Kookie his arm. "Shall we?"

Kookie nodded excitedly.

Jungkook couldn't imagine a more perfect night than this, walking hand in hand with Taehyung in a field of beautiful flowers, their sweet perfume drifting on the breeze, filling his sense of smell.

Suddenly Kookie gasped. A giant tree drapped in white lights, curtained a romantic picnic beneath it's branches.

"Do you like it?" Tae asked.

"It's beautiful." Jungkook whispered in awe.

The food was delicious, home-made by Jin hyung, Jungkook was sure, and it was all his favorite food. Tae was very attentive to Jungkook, making him laugh and smile, made him feel special. Taehyung suddenly took both of Jungkook's hands in his as he stood, bringing the boy to his feet as well.

"Come with me."

Jungkook simply stood, smiling brightly.

"Close your eyes."

Jungkook did as he was told, smile still upon his face. They walked in silence for a moment before Tae spoke again. 

"Wait here." 

Tae released Kookie's hand, leaving the boy alone for a minute.

"T-Tae?" Jungkook asked nervously when Tae hadn't returned.

"Open your eyes." Taehyung softly whispered in Kookie's ear.

Jungkook opened his eyes slowly as Tae slipped his hand into his, interlocking their fingers. Jungkook gasped at the sight before him. A beautiful ferris wheel towered in front of him, almost kissing the night sky.
